It is real hard to gauge an offense if the QB has NO time to even get in his reads and get ready to make a play. This must be a #1 priority, for the rest of this preseason we must get this figured out here and QUICKLY. We all talk about these weapons and how great Ben is but if he doesn't have time to get it to these playmakers it is a moot point.URGENCY must be stressed to this unit, C'mon coach T step up for once in your coaching career and do something. I certainly hope Kevin Colbert or SOMEBODY is watching the waiver wires?

I was expecting to see a better performance, not worse. 3 seconds, was the longest this group was able to hold up and when they did protect it was only due to holding, whoever the line coach is either isn't doing too good of a job or our players just stink. Pouncy looked bad, really bad and I don't know which was worse, Adams or Gilbert, this is going to be a long season if something doesn't change and change soon.

Man, the whole group looked bad. I wouldn't mind seeing what Beachum's got at RT. Pouncey & Gilbert looked especially terrible.

It was pretty ugly at times. Lots of teaching points on film this week.

I was woefully unimpressed (again). Ben with is starting sack, sack, interception, Pouncey's multiple flags in a set of downs.... I know it's "just preseason" but I had to turn it off at halftime before the old man, who is a Redskins fan, got a swift kick in the groinular area. The refs could have called taunting on him.

I was hoping Pouncey would take the group under his wing and LEAD them but instead he got embarrassed over and over again. He was terrible. The other guys are new and young...there is no excuse for how Pouncey played.

They seemed to take a step backward in this one being un-disciplined (4 penalties killed 1st down opportunities) and the shoddy pass protection. I'm not convinced this group will be a consistent pass protect group but I DO think that they're athletic enough for the run zone block run game which should hopefully open up the passing game. What we're missing and I mean REALLY MISSING is a blocking tight end (this is key to both running and passing the ball effectively). I believe when when we don't zone block and play man up pass protect it will be hit or miss on the execution.

I was thinking the same thing. They didnt look THIS bad against the Giants. So, either the Skins have a better D line (which is possible) or we just werent prepared to play in this game. Either way, we have a TON of work to do.

No, I'm not seeing any improvement at all and I no longer blame the players. We've had too many linemen now, including 4 high draft picks and there's still been no improvement. That says to me it's not about talent and is instead about coaching. You can only blame the players for so long before you have to start looking higher up the ladder. We've had 2 OC's now with the exact same problems (both of which who have very different philosophies too). I just think Tomlin has no idea what he's doing. He's just not a very good coach. When was the last time he coached someone up like other top coaches do around the league? Instead, all our high potential guys struggle.

Shanahan can turn 5 UDFA's into the best Oline in football but we can't even have a mediocre line with 4 high draft picks.

Don't we have a new O-line coach ( former giants one),,,could it be they aren't used to this guy yet and they're thinking too much?

i think they look half decent for the run plays,,,it's the pass protection that needs the work...since they want to run more they're practicing that more than the pass protection plays..and it's messing them up
