betting the over with AR is still reasonable. The O line should be better.

You do it because those are the bets that pay off because of the odds. I dont gamble to win 10 bucks.

    No risk it no biscuit.

But Howard hasn't thrown a pass in the NFL yet, I would probably do it if Rodgers returned though.

I like it with sorghum molasses.
You whip up a bit of butter, and sorghum molasses together into a nice creamy mix, and spread it on a hot biscuit. Yum

Tell me the last time the Bills, and the Ravens weren't the most hyped team in the AFC.

You probably have to go back to Lamar Jackson's rookie year. After that either them or the Bills have been the pre-season favorite and that's playing in a conference with the Chiefs going to a boat load of Superbowls.

Even when the Ravens started last season 1-5, the betting sites still had them listed as the favorite to win the division .

Time to bet on the Pirates. They're only 2 games out of first. OK, OK, they've only played two games...but still.

Thinking about this, the win total for an average NFL team in a 17 game season should be 8.5 games. If every game was a coin flip then those win totals will vary ±2 games based on this distribution. Checking historical NFL data for a 17 game season the win totals actually vary about ±3 games from the average.

This deviation from a coin flip is the actual differences in team quality. Meaning about 65% of game win/loss totals are due to randomness. The remaining is due to team quality, good or bad. This means 35% of wins/losses in a typical NFL season come down to coaching and player talent differences.

Looking at the Steelers specifically, in the last four years they have been marginally better than an average NFL team based on their win totals.

    Yr Wins Deviation from Avg

    2022 9 +0.5
    2023 10 +1.5
    2024 10 +1.5
    2025 10 +1.5

Can we say on average that their roster is above the NFL average in those years? If not, then the extra win or so each season had to be coaching. If we think the talent on the roster is better than an average NFL team, then the coaching hasn't contributed to the extra wins, it's the roster talent.

    Does this make sense?

Ravens almost did win the division, if not for a botched FG.

Broncos, Patriots and Texans should be hyped more than Ravens and Bills.... but we know that won't happen.

He is now a Commander in the USN doing intelligence work for SEALS

Forgot about magnetic field along with water and atmosphere. Mars doesn't have a magnetic field... nor does the moon. Don't know if Earth's magnetic field extends to cover the moon... like Jupiter does for it's moons.

Also... if I ever made it to the moon, I'd get deported by Lunar ICE back to Wales... the country of my ancestors.
