Some folks here, you included, seem to think if one reporter wrote something, then all of the media is doing it. That simply is not the case. If you can demonstrate some inconsistency in my opinion of integrity in the media, by all means, prove it. I think it is more likely you misunderstanding my point, as you seemed to do here.

What happened in Detroit is unfortunate however I'm still convinced there is way more to that story than reported, especially knowing there is a history there.

I have seen example after example of Dulac contradicting himself and trying to cover it up. I haven't seen that from Orlovsky. I'm suggesting that there should actually be evidence before making such an accusation. Some folks disliking his take is not evidence.

 

Now we are at acknowledging that NFL "reporters" do just say random nonsense and that you are willing to consider that this could be the case but not ready to convict without more evidence.

While I think that it is entirely possible that Simpson ends up a better NFL QB than Mendoza; I also think it is entirely possible that Orlovsky and others saying that have an agenda. The least "nefarious" one is the simple expediency of figuring out what the majority are saying....and offer up the opposite take. That is by definition going to drive people to your content and platforms. More "nefarious" is that he is doing his agent a solid.

Either way...doesn't really matter. Like I said....can not find a single one of these guys that is just "reporting". There are no facts here anyway. All just opinions and projections.

No, we are acknowledging that one reporter has shown a lack of integrity in his reporting. I never said all of them adhere to a strict code of journalistic ethics. Also, it doesn't take some strict code to know accepting bribes to present certain information in a certain way is wrong.

 

I wonder how many people there are out there who think the Steelers made a huge mistake getting rid of Pickens. I know it is a hell of a lot more than two.
