Metcalf vs pickens drama

Every accusation is a confession with you. Anyone paying attention knows you are the one who trolls. There was no lie in that or any of my other posts and I think you know that, which makes your accusation the lie. Metcalf is immature and selfish. He has demonstrated it with violent outbursts throughout his career, and it finally got him suspended for a couple of games last season. There is a very good argument to be made that his childish behavior in Detroit cost the Steelers the game against the Browns.

The team leaked a narrative making Pickens out to be more of a problem than he really was to try to justify the way the Cowboys fleeced them. You bought it. That is my opinion based on the available evidence. You seem to think any opinion you don't like is a lie.

Of course you do. You just don't like the answer because it doesn't fit into your defense of the Steelers' idiotic decision overpay for the right to acquire Metcalf and deal Pickens. The result was Pickens playing like an All-Pro while Metcalf turned in a disappointing season capped by his selfish, immature actions that led to a two-game suspension. It was also a foreseeable issue given his long history of losing his temper during games.

I believe you meant that you couldn't care less. Saying you could care less means you do care.

You still don't understand the difference between a fact and an opinion. Your statement about Pickens is an opinion, not a fact, and it is not supported by the available evidence. It was not a smart move at the time. Some of us saw things more clearly than you did realized it at the time. The results demonstrated that we were right and you are wrong, but you can't bring yourself to admit it. Rather than do that, you post condescending nonsense. The Steelers could have had one of the elite receivers in the NFL last season. Instead, they gave up a second rounder and a ton of money for a guy who was not only nowhere near that number, he also screwed his team over by getting himself suspended with his childish outburst.

you know what i have gotten out of all of this? not much, but i am willing to bet if the steelers kept pickens and the cowboys acquired metcalf the numbers would probably be reversed where pickens would have had a weak year and metcalf would have had a monster one.... as for the suspensions and fines? i have no clue how that would have played out but i am damn sure pickens would have melted down on the steelers sideline probably multiple times because his stats looked bad or he wasn't getting enough looks.

part of the discrepancy between the two WRs was who was throwing the ball and who was calling the plays.

in my honest opinion, they both are selfish, childish, and foolish. but most diva WRs that have talent are.

Pickens is a top 5 NFL WR. Metcalf is not . His transgressions tell the tale.
