I choose one player from each team. So three. You can do four if you want.

    In no particular order:

    Mario
    Joe Greene
    Clemente

Who do you have? My cousin said Big Ben would go over Crosby. Which might be far fetched.

Can't disagree with those three for sure. Don't know how many folks will remember Roberto, to quote the great Bob Prince, he was the Great One.

Agree, you can add Lambert or Stargell as a fourth.

Only one per sport and Crosby is no where near Mario

I’d go with Greene but Bradshaw would be my number two

Those would be my 3 also, to add a fourth from the Pittsburgh Panthers I would pick Tony Dorsett.

Of you are only doing 3, and has to be 1 from each sport, these 3.
If doing a true Mt. Rushmore with 4, those 3 plus Bradshaw.

OP says each team, not each sport, so Hanratty's choice of Dorsett would work.

Arnold Palmer could be considered even though he didn't play a team sport. He had an incredible run in the 1960's as the greatest golfer in the world.

Not when you read the entire OP. It says 'each team'. Then it says 'so three'. This would lead one to believe it means Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. The 'you can do 4 if you want' is open to interpretation. Dorsett works. Palmer works. Many would work as the 4th of you put more than 3.

    Tough one for Steelers

Pittsburgh only has 3 Pro teams but we did have an ABA team who won the Burgh's only BB Championship so we'll put Connie Hawkins up there.

He is a great Pittsburgh actor. I have always wondered if He was a Steelers fan, or if he was too quirky to even like sports.

If we are just doing Pittsburgh overall I would say

    Mario
    Mean Joe
    Roberto
Sid assuming he plays a few more years at a decent level he will be a top 5 all time player.

Troy Bradshaw Willie would be the next ones if you wanted to argue Sid. The first 3 I think are no brainers.

Of course you have 2 secondary players. I wouldn’t put Blunt in top 4.
