I told you. Upper level green. A 38. I took the test as it was part of my evaluation for a job. A cyber security job. If you ever want to talk about Wan defense, DDoS, Malware, and such DM me. Some topics are off limits! Such as the dark web, scroll locking, and some other things best not said.

I suspect the average college educated person in a technical field should score at or near 50

English and physical Ed majors not so much

BS. The highest score in NFL history all drafted players of which there are oh about 6,750 players drafted in the past years is one 50. Two ohter guys got a 48.

A sharp guy that went to an academic college should score around a 33.

    Colin Kaepernick scored a 38

Just to keep that number in perspective

The only thing difficult about the wonderlic is the time pressure. It is 14 seconds per question. The questions themselves are embarrassing if you get them wrong, but it is finishing all 50 in the time allotted.

Um, somehow I doubt that. But there is always a chance I could be wrong.

I checked Kaepernnick's score and much like you think a 50 is commonplace among Ivy league schools, which the NFL has had quite a few players form, your and wrong once again.

    It was a 37.

Wonderlic scores measure cognitive ability for hiring, with an average score of 20–21 out of 50
. High-complexity roles like Systems Analysts (32), Chemists (31), and Electrical Engineers (30) demand higher scores, while roles like Cashiers or Firefighters average around 21. Scores vary by industry, with 20–21 considered average.

    • 50: Perfect score (rare)."
Lamar Jackon scored a 12 or 13 , which would put him even with janitors...the graden variety I suppose. You might get a kick out of other professions.

At any rate Ben scored above average by NFL player standards. It was not his mind that made him great , but his size, arm, athletic ability, and toughness. He had good accuracy, not great. One thing that drew my irk was his mistakes. He could be picked off too often.

But I take these errors as long as they come with many big plays, and 4th quarter comebacks. He is one of the best five Steelers in my opinion.

We get it. You are very proud of your score on a test.

You can put it away now. We all already measured.

My guess is that most NFL players don't really give a **** about taking the test.

And since you've taken it before, I'm sure you'd agree that the things tested have little to nothing to do with playing in the NFL.

To be perfectly honest I knew nothing about the test other than QB’s take it. Reading through this thread I gather what it measures most is being able to think under pressure.

Im sure youve seen those video clips of random people being interviewed on the street being asked about things every person should know but so many of them come away looking like complete fools? It’s because there is a camera on them and they cant think. I mean some of them probably arent very smart but it’s mostly not being able to process under pressure.

I imagine the wonderlic is a lot like that knowing there is a timer on each question.

You can “hack” the test. If you train on sample questions you can pump up your score beyond what it might be just sitting down and taking it.

just like how players are doing for the physical drills at the combine.

all these measures are creeping toward irrelevant.

was reading the other day about how players are training so specifically to hit certain metrics at the combine that it completely changes their body composition. Then they have to crash train like crazy to get back to the body type they play football at.

increasingly possible these physical and mental tests measure not much of anything.

You are cute when you try to impress the grownups

But as I said I have I higher standards than you

And I deal and have dealt with with people of high intelligence

And in my world a 50 would be the expectation

And I also agree with you
Today’s generation does not strive for excellence like we tried to do
We live in the time of
