    They were in dead heat 5-5 when Najee got hurt on his 6th carry.

    It’s disingenuous to claim they were giving Harris more carries.

    So the carry on which he got hurt wouldn't count? (I'm not sure that is accurate. I thought he got hurt coming out of his stance and never got the ball on the play he was hurt, but I'd have to look it up again.)

    Disingenuous was counting the opener when Harris had missed the entire preseason and barely played due to injury. Disingenuous was you presenting the total carries from their third game without acknowledging that Harris left early in the second quarter as if that represented how the team planned to use them.

    I think you're right that he never got the ball (ETA: video below, hurt before gets the ball).

    IIRC, I think it's almost certainly a running play. Could have been a PA I guess.

    There were WRs running routes, so you are probably right.

    Plus if it was just a run, Herbert probably just throws it away...right?

    No that would be you continually saying a guy that was out carried 42-15 was getting more carries.

    Then you moved the goal posts to the second game and then you moved it to the 3rd game.

    All for possibly one more carry, i’m not going back and counting again. So for even one more carry in one game you are making the claim that he was getting more carries. Doesn’t get much more disingenuous than that.

    And from that you come to the conclusion that the Chargers who spent a first rd pick on a RB didnt want him as the lead back but instead wanted the RB that wasnt good enough to have his 5th year option picked up and signed to bargain bin contract to lead the team.

    Brilliant.
