That shows how bad the free agent market is and what they really think about Rudolph and Howard.

 

FA market is incredibly weak and the draft appears to be terrible as well. Still why bring back a 43 year old QB you know you can’t compete with? Try a young unknown try anything.

 

True, you're not going to get anyone better than Rogers in free agency, but by running it back with him they're just kicking the can further down the road. They need a franchise QB if they're ever going to be contenders again, and Rogers ain't it. Another 10-7 season coming at best. If they're really as high on Howard as they say they are, they should make him their #2. If Rodgers goes down, I'd much rather see Howard out there over Rudolph. At least we'll get an idea if Howard is going to be any good or not, and address the QB situation in the 2027 draft if need be.

I don't like Omar and I prefer that he try not to speak
but.....

This is not a great year to need a QB via Free Agency and/or the draft
Rogers is excellent for this team, but I would prefer him at #2 and mentoring.
I like the TE Washington but he has to not get banged up so much and catch some of those types of passes he dropped.

To me, I've got too much experience, it just sounds like he doesn't really have a plan and is laying the ground work excuses for a mediocre offseason.
