I like the way you avoided the subject and moved the goalposts rather than admitting the :bscow:

I suspect you won’t even comprehend this

Was Tomlin supposed to show up at your house and square up in your driveway?

If you post enough angry nonsense on the internet, you get to fight Mike Tomlin? Maybe Giant Eagle or Sheetz could offer it as a promotion? Buy a canned ham; fight a coach!

You are too old and thick headed to have a conversation with sometimes.

He stepped down. That means the moment he stepped down he was no longer the mouthpiece of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He had no obligation to anyone to do anything. It's his prerogative how to exit and he went out on his terms.

He stood in front of a microphone and lived on the public stage for nearly 20 years. There is nothing to suggest he is afraid of anything.

I thought it was time for Mike Tomlin to move on, but I just don't understand what you want from him. He doesn't owe any of us anything and you got what you wanted the second he was gone.

He was the coach for 19 years he could have held a press conference to say goodbye. Cowher and Chuck did. Tomlin is a turd. You are right though time to move on.

He shouldve given a press conference. He wasn’t fired or even encouraged to leave. After 18 years he owed the city that. Even if he was frustrated with how things ended he should've given a speech. Noll was nudged out after a losing season and gave a press conference that i remember to this day.

Doing a press conference would have served absolutely no good purpose

It would have just been people bitching and moaning

No one owes anyone anything. The only person who might have a claim to that is whatever Rooney signs the checks.

shocking how many supposedly grown folks think they’re the main character of the story.

news flash, none of us are important. No one outside your family and immediate circle thinks twice about you.

    you are not owed anything.

He said his goodbyes to the players and the organization, the same fans calling for him to be fired at a home game are now pissed he didn't do a press conference. Make it make sense .

And rightfully so. He didn’t win a playoff game in 9 straight years! That is horrible.

Disagree, he owed it to the fans and the city he represented. Personally, i don't care. But a short speech would've been a nice gesture. Anyway, I’m sure he had his reasons, he obviously wasnt happy with the way things were unfolding and i certainly agree with that.

That’s some serious main character energy.

Man did a job. Man got paid for a job. Man told his employer he didn’t want to do the job any longer. Employee said thanks and enjoy your retirement.

That’s how that works. You or I aren’t owed answers to whatever lingering questions we may have just because we watch the team on television.
