Anyone who's been to/witnessed spring break in a foreign country can attest to that!

I think the timing of Porter's comments are due to Harrison and Ben recent criticism of Tomlin.

How is wearing a sticker with DTF (determined to ****) even remotely the same as asking for it because of how you are dressed, you freaking kidding me :lolol:

    People coming to Bens defense.

The first one fits how I view Ben, a guy that let fame go to his head and made some bad decisions. I think Georgia was obviously a wake up call because he started flying straight after that.

    DTF means “down to fugh”

and people pointing it out never made sense to me. So what if she had a sticker on? There were fans defending Ben because she had a sticker like that makes his actions acceptable. Which is just like when dudes say “she had on an outfit that said she wanted it (aka deserved it) which is some bullsh!t.

Bringing up a sticker is a distraction from Ben’s actions.

Who says? When that story broke it was said it meant determined to f—k. What does fugh even mean???

And if thats what it means it’s not even in the same universe as “asking for it” because of how she was dressed.

Here's the great moment in the illustrious and classy leader Joey Porter spitting in the face of the Browns player before getting ejected from that game.

People that spit in the face of another human are pretty low on the moral scale, but that's just me.

Yeah, spitting on someone and getting suspended from an important game just screams leadership, virtue, and someone that should be blindly believed and listened to.

Imagine if someone was wearing a sticker with a racist remark or some form of bigotry. If that person got their ass kicked, the world would say they got whatever they had coming to them.

A woman is following Ben around clearly trying to get to him, have sex with him, and wearing a sticker stating as much, but everyone screams rape when they have no evidence that the event actually happened that way.

Ben was stupid for putting himself in that situation, but he was drunk out of his mind and so was she. Some of the people in this thread have most likely been in situations where you didn't do anything wrong but if a woman made some kind of wild claim, you would be fighting for your life trying to disprove what way too many view as guilty until proven innocent accusation.

I have been in an open courtroom where a serious claim was made against me during a divorce/custody trial trying to use the claim of violence/abuse as a way to stop a change of custody. It was summarily dismissed and found to be nonsense, but the threat of that is real. Far too often women are given that power automatically by the public.

I'll NEVER forget the looks on the faces of the people in the courtroom that were looking at me when the claims were made against me.

I eventually got custody of my son, and it is my ex-wife that was the person that mistreated him and was abusive of him.

I pray that anyone in a situation like that doesn't have the mindless drones screaming for their heads. Being falsely accused of something like that is the worst thing that can ever happen to someone.

There's a reason our system is innocent until proven guilty. The uninformed mob doesn't decide the outcome. At least they're not supposed to.

Two people put themselves in that unfortunate situation. It could have gone differently if at least one of them made a different choice.

Then Bags decided to fire him (not renew his contract which is the Steeler Way)

Guess is all good now due to the drafting of his son who has taken a huge step up from Grabby to Shut Down.

I would stay away form James Harrison as well Joey. He would break you in two.

Thank you. It certainly was the most stressful and difficult time of my life.

It's amazing the perspective I have now after living through something like that. People that don't think anything like that could ever happen to them have been fortunate in their lives to never have a person betray them. Any man that has ever been alone in a room in a sexual situation with a woman can be accused of something like that. I don't know how more simply I can put it.

In my case, this human garbage woman was accusing me of assaulting her and hitting my son just to try to protect herself from her own actions. In almost all cases 30-something years ago, women were automatically given custody of children. Eventually the truth came out, but there were trips and psychological evaluations at Children and Youth Services. The entire process is scary, demeaning, and stressful. It is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

It took a long time to be completely vindicated and get my son out of a nightmare situation, but this is stuff that happens to people if there is a woman trying to use her sex and lies as a weapon and a way to make money.

My son was scarred from the entire experience, and he was abused by his mother while in her custody. I was eventually granted custody and life got much better for both of us. Despite this, she was never charged or punished in any way by the system.

    Oh, those scales of justice......

These many years later, he is now a well-adjusted man with a beautiful wife and daughter. He is currently fighting cancer, so once again life has thrown adversity his way and he is facing something he can't control. He hasn't gotten many breaks along the way, that's for sure.

The point here is that every interaction you hear about with accusations by women towards men is not legit. Not even close. The ramifications of these accusations can stay with someone for the rest of their lives and even affect children and their quality of life. I know, because I lived it.

Wow, Peezy just drove a knife into that old wound. Now we're all rehashing it again too. I wonder why that came to the surface again for Porter? What motivated him to lash out now?

As I said before, I feel for Ben's family.

This point always gets beaten to death in every discussion outlet. No one ever means that she's asking to be assaulted. But anyone who has a daughter, knows that you want her to avoid putting herself in compromising situations that can lead to something bad. Getting anywhere near blackout drunk, while chasing a drunk, rich, young, famous jock from bar to bar, wearing a shirt with DTF on it are some pretty good examples of what not to do to avoid compromising situations.

No one knows what exactly happened in the bathroom and that might even include Ben and the girl. They both put themselves in a very bad situation. And now Ben and his family are still paying for it. And I'd imagine she's still dealing with the repercussions as well.

Seriously, read the report released by the investigators at the time. Even at best, she was too drunk to give consent. The way Roethlisberger and his crew handled everything up to the point she was in that bathroom with him was creepy as hell. I don't know if he actually raped her, but I have no doubt at all that the intent to take what he wanted regardless of her consent was there.

Actually, it is very similar. Some young girls wear stuff like that just because they think it's funny. Even if she was looking for sex that night, that doesn't mean she wanted it with him. Women do not surrender their right give or deny consent just because they wear a sticker or dress slutty.

Also, DTF is down to ****, not determined, which is a significant distinction in this case.

Also also, she did not go to the bathroom with him. They got her drunk, he went there alone and his boys brought her there, shut the door behind them and stood guard so the friends who knew she was too drunk to give consent didn't interfere. Read the actual accounts, which are creepy as hell.

Some of the posters in this thread don’t have daughters and it shows.

I get the shirt and following Ben and his crew around, but that is immaterial to the bigger picture.

My guess is that there's a much higher proportion of POSs in the ranks of pro athletes.

Semantics on what it stands for. My point was a girl out looking for sex is not the same as saying she is asking for it because of how she is dressed.

Keep in mind Im not saying wearing a tag means she deserves to be raped, I dont believe she was raped. She followed Ben around all night, flirting with him, wearing that tag and and people are surprised it led to a sexual encounter.

Exactly. Im sure if I was a father I would want to kill Ben but I’d also ground my daughter until she was 30 for behaving that way and putting herself in danger. She’d have to do a lot to win my trust back.
