    Can't wait.

Last year at Planet Steelers you had the Steelers drafting QB Kyle McCord in the first round of your mock draft, he eventually was selected by the Eagles in the sixth round and put on their practice squad.

I always like reading the offseason stuff.

Most of it won't happen, but it's interesting to see what the possible moves are. And having lots of people talk about potential plans is probably a good way to see them.

Agree in general except Ramsey, i think it was another bad contract where his CB days are done and he’s not the answer at safety either. Hes basically over the hill.

Also Jonnu Smith was an all star a couple seasons ago, just because he was part of A Smiths group doesnt mean McCarthy cant get something out of him. Only thing is they have 3 other TE’s, so maybe they can get something via trade.

Let's not compound what's so far been a horrible mistake by wasting another pick on RB, we have two good backs, let's see if KJ has anything, before blowing more draft capital on a position with very low value.

I don't want to see them draft a running back in the first round. Love is a great player, but they have other needs more pressing IMO.

I don't care if they draft one that is a bargain later in the draft. For example, a player like Nick Singleton from Penn St. He broke his foot in practice for the Senior Bowl. He may fall way down the draft because of the injury and teams are unsure of when he would be able to return. If you can get a dynamic player like him later in the draft, I think he could be a great pick and he could be a terrific back.

I'm not giving Jones the 5th year option. I'm not even convinced he will win the LT starting job in 2026.

No, check the archives on that site if they are still there.

I recall mocking McCord as high as round three. I was intrigued by his arm and his production on an average Syracuse team. He was not a check down type of QB. Anyway in my final mock I liked the guy in round three.

At any rate, welcome here. I still consider you to be a hero for what you did in Hawaii. Lending your body to those in need.

But please quote me right, okay.

If the Steelers keep and/or extend the players listed won't the Steelers just be looking to run back a 10-7 year and early beat down in the playoffs? At some point, imo, the Steelers need to take on the bad regular season and rebuild differently. Recycling the same players that were 10-7 and got mollywhopped in the playoffs will keep the no losing seasons alive but it won't get them to the next step for SB contention.

Yes, your final mock had him in Round 3.

But your initial one had him in Round 1. It was only after many posters including myself questioned you repeatedly about why you would waste such a valuable resource on a guy who would still be available on Day 3 that you ended up moving him down.

I hate the Molly whopping saying. If our offense could have done anything in that last playoff game , anything, we could easily have won, and yet they are thinking of bringing back the same scared Qb.
