Do you really want Rogers to come back?

If we are lucky ARod gets smoked in the first game and we have to bring in Howard . I don't want him back. I can see why they think its a good idea I just don't see the Steelers progressing with Arod on the team.

And I think Harbaugh has had a top 5 roster or better for several years. He did less with more than just about anyone.

Considering the alternatives I would bring Rodgers back.

Well this is pretty terrible to watch as well

Maybe Rooney can spring for a helmet that fits Rodgers this year to entice him to come back?

Do you like check down football? A QB that is afraid to stand in pocket?

Last I checked Arthur Smith and his three TE set offense is gone, replace that with more three WR sets and no more check down football ;).

It will not matter if Rodgers is back and refuse to take a hit for the good of the team.It was also a problem for Ben in his last 2 years

People are overacting to that Rodgers didn't play like that every game give him better receivers that can get open.

I think there will still be an element of check down which is ok. The difference is the defense will be spread out and they won’t be stacking the box against are heavy personnel so that should open up the fie;d more for Rodgers. Having better receivers will help a lot as well.

I am hoping g the oline will take another leap forward this year to be truly dominant. Rodgers is still very effective when given the time and he does destroy the blitz it’s when the other team can put pressure in him with just four rushers that hurts us.

I actually think it's funny that HCs get graded on not winning in the playoffs, but many so called great Qbs don't.
Example: Lamar Jackson is going to go into the HOF basically around what he does in the regular season, yet HCs are condemned for the same exact thing.
    Make that make sense.

LoL. Dude it doesn't make a f**k who is out there.
Rodgers was getting rid of the ball in 2.46 seconds(that's what is recorded)because Hes terrified of getting hit.
Think about that. The fastest man on earth can't run a route very far in that time.

Any QB suffers under a pass rush but it is even worse when you have a QB like Rodgers.

HC is graded, correctly, based on how the team performs because HC has control over the whole team.

QB is graded, correctly, based on his own stats because QB has control only over how he plays.

I've blamed Ben just as much as Tomlin for playoff duds from 2014-2021. Both share blame in those debacles.

Ok for those of you that don’t know what a check down is :

In football, a checkdown pass is when the quarterback attempts to complete a short, accurate pass, typically to a running back or tight end, as a last option when the primary option(s) as designed by the play call are covered. The term means that the quarterback has "checked down" his list of receivers.

3 tight ends or 3 receivers it doesn’t matter. If the primary receiver isn’t open the quarterback better be checking down.

    At times?
The last half a dozens games he was scared to death. You can't operate any
Offense if your QB is afraid to take a hit. We saw it play out. I hope for AR sake,
That he does the right thing and retires and Steelers move on to the next QB whoever that maybe that has the ability to get out of harms way if the situation calls for.

Well the reason he won’t take a hit is because he can’t move to get out of harms way. I don’t disagree though I just really hope they don’t try this again. It won’t end well.

Lets try someone else, McCarthy suppose to be the QB whisperer
Surely he can coach him up. AR is a HOF, its time for him to enjoy the fruits of his labor
