Tomlin quit so he won't be paid by Steelers. How interesting that an alleged Hall of Fame coach hasn't been offered boatloads of money by another team. The fact is...nobody will hire a coach that hasn't won a playoff game for nine years.

 

I'm sure teams called his agent to inquire about his interest in coaching in 2026, you act like he's supposed to change his mind just because of the money. Maybe he's burnt out and needs a break.

I actually hope that's what happens. I was happy to never root against My first two HCs I remember, Noll, and Cowher, and would be happy to not root against the 3rd . It's cool to me that they never coach again after coaching here.

 

Also. The Giants reached out to Tomlin before they did Harbaugh, and He turned them down but I guess that totally goes against the narrative You want to establish.

I guess you don't realize that every indication is that Tomlin doesn't want to coach in 2026. Also, as was already pointed out, teams would have to trade for him. You may want to try to understand the situation better before you post next time.

No, it is an intelligent move. They aren't preventing him from coaching. Teams have traded for coaches with less success than Tomlin before, and it has often worked out for them. It would be foolish to give away an asset like that.
