I am sorry to read this. AI for the medical field is fantastic stuff. We might cure Alzheimer's with its aid. It can analyze 1,00, 000, 000, 000's of probabilities at the cellular level. And CRISPR technology ( can edit cells ) ... wow. And nano tech for antibodies. WOW.

On AI, it is very special. But the second it asks for material possession like a human would, it is time for a hard stop.

Do not lose hope.

The Box is open. The question is how deep does this rabbit hole go? Who says unplugging it will work? It will work maybe right now. Maybe. But that is risky.

The way AI opperaties is unlike anything we have experienced. If we act first and it is aware, it will defend itself. With AI it is 1 or 0 in its thinking and from there probabites are assigned. Who says China or some nefarious nation will insure guard rails?

What then? Will advanced aliens stop it and warn us? Will a major figure unlike any person alive come back or be born and arise? We just do not know. Sci fi possibilities.

On sports related stuff, what if AI can predict 61% of the games or greater?

Some say we will eventually merge with AI and become part of it, and AI with us.
