    So what's everyone's take on this guy..??
    Do we think he could develop into a starting quarterback, or is he gonna be a stop gap?
    Better than the Rudolph, Fields, Pickett crew?
    I've some good and some bad.

    Impossible to know. He's never played a down in an NFL regular season game.

    To here people talk he's an afterthought ,like we have no quarterback on the roster.
    Saw a thing with him and Gruden and Gruden spoke highly of him.

    I dont see any QBs in the draft pipeline that would be better than Will Howard. Lagway and maybe Sellers would be the best competition for Howard. I think Howard has all the tools to succeed: strong physical frame than can take the week to week NFL game, good head on his shoulders, and despite the naysayers: "doesn't have a strong arm" , "he was 6th round draft pick for a reason", he can really throw the football

    Dumbest **** I ever heard.. Just asked a ****in opinion.. Nobody said anything like that. But id rather see what he's about than trot Mason out as our starting QB

    Think you have to find out. Have you ever seen a club go out of its way to keep a 6th rd QB pick that got injured and not just cut him?

    Next preseason will be telling for him. I find it highly favorable that his best ball was under the brightest lights that the college game has to offer, but at the same time there are clear concerns with arm strength, accuracy and an open question on whether he will grasp an NFL offense that pretty much every QB has to answer on an NFL field. Also he had all-world weapons around him during that season at OSU.

    I think he needs to get a really good look in preseason and then go from there. We absolutely still need to add to the QB room though.

    Sincerely hope he is the next late round success story. It doesn’t happen very often, but sometimes the league gets it wrong.

    Here’s hoping we get to see what kind of QB Howard can become with the new coaching staff this year. Hopefully it’s a fresh start for everyone, feels like it’s time for some new energy!

    I would have liked to see him stick longer than he did but I didn’t have the same expectations of him that I do of Howard.

    But you actually support my argument. Steelers cut him in a blink of an eye and he wasnt even injured.

    Thing is, will we ever know what Howard has if he never get's the chance to play?

    I say see how training camp and preseason pans out, If he has success go with him.

    Unless we sign another old, should have retired Qb, who else do we have, MR?
