When Brian Flores is announced as our new HC who should our offensive and defensive coordinators be?

Why wait?

Empty threats are hilarious.

 

Every time a coach is hired there is “drama” for a week.

When Tomlin was hired the Pittsburgh media made up drama saying someone else was hired.

 

It's a little different with Flores though. He's got a bit more baggage associated with him. I'm not dead against him being the next head coach but he seems a bit similar to Tomlin as a defensive guy. Which again, is ok, as long as he's a lot more willing/able to find a great offensive coordinator and let him do his thing, unlike what we saw with Tomlin.

Personally, I'd prefer a change to an offensive-minded head coach after Cowher and Tomlin. But I'll be excited for any change coming the team's way at this point.

So in the other thread that you created, you're all in on hiring Jerod Mayo as a head coach. A guy that went 3-14 as a one-year head coach that was fired because he wasn't a good coach. THAT guy is a big thumbs up from you.....but Flores is a no-go? The guy that got fired because his owner ordered him to intentionally lose games and he told the owner to go F himself as he won eight of his last nine games and sued the owner for wrongful termination???

If that's enough for you to follow another team, don't let the door hit ya my man.

I'll be right where I have always been. Rooting like crazy for the Steelers and hoping they are wildly successful....regardless of whether I agreed with the hire or not.
