I think Harmon or Black eventually become the NT.

I sure hope so, hence my original post "Benton clearly isn't a NT. I don't know a lot but I know that."

He's definitely hiding something.... its been pretty clear to me watching him rush that he's protecting something..... I suspect that he has a pec injury and he's trying to avoid surgery...
The needling treatment he was undergoing is the connecting thread

Because we had the two turnstiles Moore and Okorafor. Jones and Fautanu are looked at as anchors for the next decade. And depending on how you feel about the OL coach, they may still be. Remember, Fautanu is essentially a rookie

dont forget Qb. Darnold couldve been had. I think he fits the roster better than a 42 year old AR.

We already drafted Jones and we ran the ball a hell of a lot better than this season. Our OL is still a turnstile, you can see AR not fully going through his progressions most of the season because he didn't have much trust in them. Rogers averaged around 2.5 seconds on pass releases this year, the quickest of his career, which isn't an accident with this OL

Ben's last game was 4 years ago and we have no clue who the quarterback is going to be - SAD.

We could've steamrolled to the championship if he only went with Mason at that time. Last four seasons is enough to fire him.

Mason's not good enough for that.

It's almost like you could take college kids and they'd put up more of a fight and heart. Hard to say that about our highly paid professional team but...

I did hear Arod say this team wants to play for Tomlin. Really wants to?

To each player, you're playing for the SB. It maybe the only chance you get, ya never know. And this was your performance? I don't know which would be worse, them saying they gave it their all or saying it was a bad night and they didn't?

My thoughts on wild-card weekend, the direction of the Steelers under Mike Tomlin and Art Rooney's brain...all-in-one and not mutually exclusive.

Someone once said, and I'm starting to believe, that a CEO-type HC (Tomlin) is great for winning in the regular season. But they get out-matched by Xs&Os HCs in the postseason. I'm starting to believe this is true.

No matter how many times Rudolph proves otherwise, he thinks the Steelers should hand the job to Rudolph and give him a three-year window as the starter. Or is it four years?

The line is still terrible with Fautanu, who was an utter disaster last night. Mitchell was an elite defender from day one. The Steelers were idiots to pass on him.

2 field goals when Houston turned the ball over three times?

I have grown tired of AR. He plays not to lose too often, bithces and berates his teammates, is too cautious about his body, and is a stage cat. He just does not fit with the men. His darkness retreat, his secret marriage.. to a man? Enough of the drama. Retire from football.

DK must have lost his heart to play. Maybe that blue haired man took it. We are married to him for at least two more years.

The run defense was disgustingly bad. Our run D is very poor at NT/DT, and ILB.

Muth must have done something to Tomlin. I have no idea what he said or did.

Cook is a professional. A fighter. A leader and a smart player.

Echoles us lucky to be mentioned.

Our safeties are a sorry group of players from what I can tell. The entire strategy seems to be not to get beat for TD passes.

This team gave up long before the 4th quarter.

Tomlin...just quit, go to tv in 2026 or be fired.

Time for real change And that starts with the head coach, OC and DC.

Last night made something I have believed since the 2024 draft abundantly clear. Passing on Quinyon Mitchell for Troy Fautanu was a massive mistake. I wrote this last year, and some folks here kept telling me to wait until I saw Fautanu. I told them he had to become an elite tackle to justify that trade. He isn't. He isn't even a good one. The running game got worse with him starting this year. The pass protection wasn't good. Top pass rushers abused him. He was utterly pathetic last night.

The Steelers could have had two shutdown corners right now. Maybe some of y'all don't understand what that does for a defense.

That MNF record was just a regular season thing I think. It's not like Minkah did anything with Miami either.

    It's too bad.

This was the defensive performance we've been waiting for in a playoff game (until the drive after the 1st DTD against anyway).

But the O just couldn't do anything against a Texans D that's really good.

I said it last night, but I think I'd still be for bringing Rodgers back if he's willing. I know it got down voted a couple times. But he's given us the best QB play we've had since before Ben got hurt. And if we decide to have 2 NFL WRs for a change, I think we could have a good offense. He was using Washington a lot too. And I have to imagine that we'll cut Smith so that A Smith can't consistently play him over PF even though he's worse at everything.

We should have traded Watt 2 years ago because a blind man could see we were nowhere near an elite team to compete for the Super Bowl. Addition by substraction was necessary because we need 7-9 pieces!!
