I know Mclendon is scheduled to be the starter, but it seems that the Steelers have some faith in Ta'amu considering the problems that he has had. I too look forward to seeing what this guy is capable of.

the team took a vote and thinks he should have to practice in pads and go against big bertha for a couple of days.

Could it be that Arnfelt's play so far in camp may have improved Tamu's injury status? Its amazing(if given a fair chance) what competition can bring out
in players. The Steelers to be sucessful will need a good rotation on the DL. There are JOBS to be won at this critical position.

I think arnfelt has been playing DE in camp. I mentioned this the other day though, about him at NT. he's strong and quick, which is a good combo to have at NT also.

the more you can do though.

Saw this on T'Amu this morning, which is promising. By all accounts I've heard of this kid, he's incredibly humble, and the incident was very out of character for him. If he ended up being a quality NT, I'd love to see what McClendon could do from DE with Ta'Amu in the middle... Getting ahead of myself though.

I do know that he has been playing the end position, but think about it Mac, you have Heyward a #1(Colbert/Tomlin isn't going to admit to a bust) draft choice going to share snaps with Ziggy and Kiesel. Here you have an undrafted player that we are told, is very capable of playing the NT position to give McClendon a blow and also able to play DE. So that is why I made the comment in my previous thread. Lets see how this shakes out, I believe if there is a level playing field that there are jobs to be won on the DL.
