Which time are you referring to. Gainwell was open on both 3rd and 4th down. Almost in the same spot each time. So even if he was tackled on the 3rd down there is no guarantee he would have been, they still have a 4th down play closer to the end zone. I would still take my chances with the speed and agility of Gainwell over two passes to MVS. That was a joke

 

I never quite understood on back to back catches why he was making himself smaller by running low instead of his usual straight up and plowing defenders over?!

 

No idea. It’s been like 3-4 weeks in a row now that he’s done it.

 

I don't think of Freiermuth as someone that plows defenders over, certainly not like Washington.

Ironically I think he is trying to protect his lower body / create leverage if you will due to defenders always trying to take out his legs.

 

People diving at his knees heaven forbid he protect himself

 

Thanks for taking the time to post the all22. I am wrong too but the clip I saw just showed Gainwell but now it makes sense.

 

Unfortunately there appears to be a whole pile of people out there that get kicks out of creating clips that promote a narrative.
