It's not a matter of just walking away....... i have to question why he walked over there in the first place..... what happened to supporting your team..... it doesn't matter if you're not on the field. The defense is out there trying to get the ball back for you, then your place is near the sidelines to encourage them..... at the very least, game planning with your QB .....

Spotless record has nothing to do with it. The 2 games is the better optic to tell the media and fans that the league is out to protect fans. So two games appears sufficiently harsh in protecting a "fun family " experience. He will appeal and the union will argue that the fan was a known troublemaker looking to bait players to post it on social media. The will say the league didnt take the report seriously last season and the Lions were negligent in not red flagging the individual and limiting his access to near field level behind the Steelers bench. After all is said and done it will be reduced to one game after the pound of flesh is extracted.

 

If we are going to get back into the immature Pickens vs immature Metcalf debate I'd like to enter the following.

Go back and watch Warren's TD run and watch Metcalf's effort beside Warren and compare that to Pickens effort when he isn't the guy with the ball.

Also how quickly many forget how hard they were cheering all week after Metcalf shoved Fitzpatrick out if the way in route to a TD

 

Actually it could matter a whole lot that they won that game. There is a very real possibility the last two games of the season will mean nothing toward a division title. That is huge + with Metcalf on suspension.
