I'd say best win of the season as well.

Detroit was Top 5 overall in just about every category Offensively and Pittsburgh stymied them for three quarters. No T.J. Watt and no Nick Herbig were just the tip of the iceberg in terms of who was missing. Losing Brandon Echols didn't help the back end either given how well Ramsey was playing Safety at the time. Losing Isaac Seumalo on Offense though still continues to be massive as Andrus Peat clearly isn't what he used to be.

Overall, this was a great game and easily one of Mike Tomlin's best wins in quite some time. Regarding the Boswell miss, I blame that more on Christian Kuntz given the fact he has been battling a knee injury all season. If anything, the Steelers need to turn to Cal Adomitis for the rest of the season.

I turned the game off after Lions scored the TD before the flag was thrown. I still can't believe Steelers won.

I will hereby officially STFU until Steelers lose playoff game. I'm still pissed at Metcalf for hitting the Lions fan. I will piss and whine about that.

I couldn't post because I was at work (but slow day so I was able to watch most of it).

I planned on commenting tonight that that was the most complete game I've seen from them in at least 2 years...

And then my thoughts jinxed it.

I could do without how tight it got in the end. But, yeah, great win overall.

    Don't tease me! Finish strong!

I mean, they’re a really good offense. We weren’t going to lock them up forever. They made the stop when it mattered. That was a desperate team pulling out all the stops to try to stay playoff relevant. We beat them in their building and snapped a long streak of not losing back to back games….

Great win, but I’ve still got to go with winning in Baltimore. The season was caught up in a wave about to crash on the rocks. It was a big W under huge pressure.

Unfortunately with being the 4 seed you are going to get a really good team rd 1. Chargers, Bills or Texans seemingly as of now.

But when you consider no Herbig or Watt on a fast track in a dome and slowing down the Lions offense. None of the Lions stars on offense had a big game.

I posted where several pointed to you and you deleting. Good grief dude, you really did think you covered your tracks well enough.

I'm not going to tag forgotten and jeh who were also calling you out and pointing to you, And how you doubled down with still doing it after you were called out.

Theoretically you get really good teams all the time in the playoffs. I know sometimes you get a marginal team, but you can’t win anything without beating a good team.

The team that showed up to play today is good enough to beat anyone in the AFC on a given day.

Yeah and the 2nd and 3rd Seeds will play one of those teams.

    This is a joke right?

What impressed me was that we lost the turnover battle and still won.

Both teams had 1 turnover. 1 fumble each and no INTs

Sometimes the 7 or 6 seed are weaker opponents just look at us a lot of times in that spot. Valid point though about the 3 or 2 seed getting a tough matchup as well. Wild card teams as of now all look very tough.

Usually I would agree but I think the Chargers Bills and Texans are actually more scary than the Pats or Broncos. I realize that’s debatable. Jags look really good right now which is strange to say.

It helped that the Lions were down to their 4th string center and third string guard.

No the Lions didn't turn the ball over. Gibbs fumbled but recovered his own fumble.
