What metrics are you using to evaluate "sub-par" or is it just a sense that it is not good enough?

I don't disagree but I wanted to know how others are getting to that point.

Sub par... meaning, Warren/Gainwell DO NOT rush for 100 yards COMBINED more often than not.

Broderick Jones will be the starting LT next year he was actually improving quite nicely

All the Steelers need is a new LG next year and this OL will improve and be good for years

I did hear Fautanu being mentioned as a guard but not Jones. The jury is still out for me on Jones. The injury does him no favors. I still think its his job to lose though.

Lets see how Cook fares this week against Hutchinson. Pass that test and I believe they have something.

    This.

Why people want to run Broderick out of town is beyond me. Doesn't make any sense. Only way Broderick Jones is not the starter in 2026 is if that stinger is even worse than what was reported.

If that is the case, Pittsburgh will have to draft a LT in either Rounds 1 or 2. Of the two that I would consider starter capable for Arthur Smiths scheme, Kaydn Proctor from Alabam or Blake Miller from Clemson fit this bill. Proctor gets docked way too often for his apparent "lack of lateral speed and explosiveness" but Proctor is just inconsistent at times with inside counter moves. That can be fixed with coaching.

For Blake Miller?! He can be a Day One starter but the NFL Weight Room will need to be his best friend. He can run block but don't expect him to blow people off the line. Gonna need more sand in the pants for that.

Not that Jones isn't worth signing. He's not worth top 10 pay among tackles with the option. If the Steelers can sign him for less, then maybe worth it.

It has a lot to do with ARod not getting constant pressure from his blind side. Getting away from pass rush not only takes away from being accurate but also takes away from play developing. Theilen or the other receivers have not caught any more passes compared to other receivers. Arod has been distributing balls to everyone with Gainwell being a surprise #2 in total catches.

Some of you are funny. You act like Kahn and Tomlin are the only people in the NFL to ever cut guys that end up being good.

    Look up James Harrison's career.
