I would. Had he been available before they picked up MVS and Thielen, I would have brought him in first.

Of course they have to sit someone, would they sit Austin?

I just saw this in Facebook...I am sure he will get scooped up quickly by a team heading to the playoffs.

I would think Rodgers would love to add him, but as you said...who sits down?

Why Austin? What value does Scotty Miller add?

I thought Scotty already was. I know they sat him as a healthy scratch against Buffalo. But yeah, if hes playing than hes the obvious choice.

Do not sit Austin. I repeat! DO NOT SIT AUSTIN!! Kid plays his heart out even when he doesn’t get the ball much. That block on DK’s TD against Fitzpatrick was incredible for where he came from. Most players wouldn’t be able to line that up from such a distance. Sit Jonnu Smith!

Tomlin said Miller is active because he's the backup punt returner to Austin.

    Am I understanding this correctly

You want to sit our second leading receiver for a guy with 70 yards on the season

Now I’ll admit “second leading receiver” did make me laugh

    Agreed

And they are our second and third leading wide receivers

I’m saying that if they want to bring in another WR, they have to sit someone and that could be a difficult choice. Wilson was easy even know its a mystery as to why they dont get him involved more but clearly the offense has been flowing better with MVS and Thielen in the lineup. I think Lazard would have the same effect and offers more than either of those guys.

We can only dress so many older WRs who don't play special teams.

This is correct. Which makes somethings we would like to see likely not to happen.

Talk about sliding down the depth chart.... oof. Is he that bad he can't learn a playbook?

Do we know thats why or is that just speculation? I find it hard to believe that a guy who was on IR all last season and nothing else to do but learn the playbook still hasnt picked it up.

I know that Smith has his favorites and maybe there is just something about Wilsons game he doesnt like.

Wilson got 57% of the snaps against Cincinnati and then he became a healthy scratch

He was getting open I even watched him running down the field wide open waving his arm and Rodgers dumped off

Maybe he was getting open running the wrong routes

If you believe the media, they are saying he doesn't know the checks and signals Rodgers calls in games.

Qbs have a lot to do with this, especially older well known Qbs, and as I have said a million times, different Qbs see the field differently, and , or expect different things.

The media also says Wilson was open all the time but for some reason Rodgers didn't throw it to him much.
