They're not touching him, even if we paid them to take him.

They have to do something, they only have Riley Leonard and Brett Rypian on their roster.

They just commented on MNF pregame that Philip Rivers is going to a workout for the Indianapolis Colts. How long has he been out of the league? They might want to give one of his 11 kids a workout instead.

I am guessing if Tomlin and Khan are still here, we all better watch the Colt, as Phillip Rivers may be the Steelers 2026 QB. :)

Philip Rivers coming out of retirement to play for Indy is like King Harald Hardrada of Norway deciding he wants one last stab at glory and invading England for the crown.

Rivers' accomplishments pale in comparison to those of his classmates, Big Ben and Eli, so he has one more desperate chance to achieve glory. The Seahawks, Niners, Jaguars, and Texans defenses will crush those dreams fast.

Interestingly, I read where if he starts Sunday for the Colts it would be 1,800 days since he last played in the NFL...which would be only the third longest gulf between starts.

King Harald took an arrow to the throat, and his army was demolished at Stamford Bridge by the Anglo-Saxons.

Much like Phillip Rivers will be if he faces the Texans defense..:noose:

    A. Rod just passed LJ for all time highest career QB rating. Rodgers says "thanks Baltimore!".

Way things going with QB's Brady and Ben might get phone calls. And you damn well know if they oppose each other Brady comes out on top.

Brady play almost half of his career before 2011(before the safety rules) and the QB rating is not a perfect stats since when you throw and complete a pass short of a first down on 3rd down and long,it help the passing rating but not the team.....Jimmy G was also in a Kyle Shanahan system, the most QB friendly in the NFL

Brady could probably do it. Ben has already said his body isnt capable. He actually named it but I can’t remember, knees maybe.

What does this getting a 44yr old grandpa to come out of retirement to play QB say about today’s youth?

    I don’t like it either
    Have you seen
    Philip Rivers?
Wouldn’t that be something he comes back and wins a Super Bowl?
