I mean that I have 3 kids, not that this is the 3rd baby born to forum members recently. I hope its not contagious to me. Didn't mean to sound like a prick.

Thanks dude! It feels really weird to have two kids now because it seems like it was just yesterday that Ben was born and now that's been 2 and a half years ago! I'm still kinda in a state of shock really. It just happened so fast! My wife had been having contractions since Sunday morning and I left church early thinking we would have a baby that day but they stopped. Then yesterday they got more intense but the dr said it still wasn't time. So then last night I told my wife to just try and rest because we knew for sure they were gonna take the baby on Wednesday. So she went to bed and at about 2:30 she woke me up in agony and said it was time to go to the hospital. So we got down here at about 3 or so and they admitted her and gave her the epidural and we thought that it was gonna be some time tonight before she came and the nurse came in for a routine check and then said "wow you're ready right now"! and went and got the dr and within 30min she came shooting out of there kicking and screaming and I honestly felt so relieved that I sorta just cried for a second and tried not to pass out. LOL. It was pretty dang amazing really. Not for the faint of heart. But still amazing.

Congrats BFT. That was how I was when my son was born two years ago. I cut the cord and then became totally irrelevant to what was going on. I stood there looking for someone to tell me what to do with the scissors until finally the doctor went someone wanna help dad to the floor he looks like he is going to pass out. I didn't but it was a surreal experience. This time I was more prepared and did better.Anyways Congrats and I am sure she is beautiful and will own your heart the way Emma already owns mine.

Quick tip: with girls remember to wipe front to back lot more places for stuff to get into on girls than with boys.

Congrats BFT. I have a few of my own so I understand every emotion you described. I still look at my kids and am able to go back in time to when they were introduced to this world. There is nothing like being a father, especially, a father of a little girl. Boys may grow to be like you but little girls grow to be liked by you! ;)
