I don't know why people pick players in the twilight of their career, aren't most athletes a shell of themselves at that point? Troy is not overrated, he's just been injured too much lately.

It's good to see Aaron Smith getting some love though. I think the reason Wallace made the list is because he could really only do one thing and is not fundamentally sound all the way around. I was actually thinking that Aaron Smith would be my 2nd most underrated behind Heath.

I could agree with that BFT! I think they are a very, very tight 1 and 2 considering what they give/gave to this team and how overlooked they are/were.

I agree!!! In order to be overrated- by defination- is to be rated higher than your skills/production says you are. If you're being marketed as the Best WR playing in the NFL and there are 4 other WRs whose production consistantly and completely over-shadows yours, then you are now considered overrated.

How in the world can anyone with half a brain say Troy is the most overrated steeler ever, how can they even say he's overrated at all. Being injuryed has nothing to do with being overrated. He's a bonafide 1st ballot HOFer and is feared and/or respected by his peers and contemporary active oppoenant coaches. He has slowed a bit but he has earned every bit of respect he has been given. The author is an idiot.

Mike Wallace could be considered overrated.

How in the world can he even say Cliff stoudt and Mark Malone are overrated. They were never considered game changers or threats. They were who everyone thought they were, nothing special.

Didn't Wallace break it in 2011 with a 95 yard TD reception against the Cards?

Malone was supposed to be Bradshaw's replacement, though - so you could argue he was overrated in that respect. He certainly overrated himself, if that counts for anything.
