Do any of you remember how Ben would get angry at Claypool for running lazy routes? I remember Ben throwing his helmet and yelling at CC after a3rd down when he ended up having to throw the ball away in the red zone. Ben had Ward, Heath, AB, Easy, there were a few more. Coach Drake was a fantastic WR coach. Azzanni, remains to be seen.

Will Thielen and MVS even see the field?

They aren’t cutting Calvin and Roman.

Little known fact. Chad Ocho Cinco actually lived at Paul Brown Stadium for the first 2 years of his career in order to save money.

You think he already called and asked to be released? He said he wanted a bigger role and he gets claimed by a team with one of the sorriest passing games in the league. And beyond that, what exactly is the thinking here, what does Thielen add?

The fact that a Twitter User literally called this is either comical or damning depending on what one's criteria is.

When I heard he asked to be released to go to a place where he might play, I thought we might pick him up.

Our WRs aren't good, so throwing more mud at the wall seems like a reasonable thing to do.

Not sure why we went into the season without a WR2 again.

The DL might have been better last week if we could convince Greene to suit up.

I almost spit out my coffee. Fantastic!

So they release a mummified guy and bring in a more mummified guy. Perfect.

And if anyone thinks that they are going to all of a sudden open the route tree to the middle of the field think again.

So, our idiot GM is getting a shellacking this morning. Apparently, his rope has run short finally.
Stephen A is brutal about the system but also of Omar.

Nobody but our fan base can make sense of bringing in Aaron Rogers and proclaim 'we are all in' and then trade for addition Metcalf but then subtract Pickens?!
Metcalf is having his worst season at 50.4 yds per game.
After Metcalf, the talent level drops off a cliff with a little ledge by Calvin Austin who leads our WR's with a pathetic 278yds.

This move for a 35-year-old Adam Thielen is just ridiculous.
The attention paid to this offense is sad, real sad and as one writer said, "who in the hell is running this show?"

I agree with the Asante Samuel move though. He was very good until his injury and if he has proven he is 100% and back to form, that could be a good score.

I've heard Wiedl is on the short list of teams looking for GM's.
I would really hate to lose that guy and keep Omar. As everyone knows, I would give that guy away for a Bazooka Joe gum wrapper and maybe a 7-up bottle cap

this. agree about this. on the same page with rodgers at the same time against any type of defense. these guys should be able to read coverage and know where and when to break to beat it. this may work better than many think. it could make DK better as well. we shall see. 35 but not all beat up from this year.

We picked up an aging Wide Receiver on waivers?

This calls for a Discount Doublecheck.

I don’t want to lose whoever is responsible for setting our last 3 draft boards and pulling the trigger. I hear it’s Wiedl, and I suspect the same given what he did in Philly, but I don’t know for sure. I personally suspect heavy Tomlin influence in the FA decisions and the Ramsey trade. Also, the Claypool trade was a huge win for Khan out of the gate.

As a collection of players, we have a lot of talent. Certainly better than 6-6 talent. On the field it looks completely and utterly disjointed. That screams “coaching failures” to me very loudly. So, I would like to see what the Khan/Wiedl team can do without a faltering head coach is obviously the person in the organization with the second most power behind the owner. If we have to lose one, I would lose Khan to keep Wiedl if my understanding of what Wiedl has done is true. But I think Khan can only be given a grade of “incomplete” right now given the circumstances.

Gainwell was a major win as well. Imagine this offense without him this season... yoi.

These last 3 drafts were Tomlin, Omar, and Wiedl. Probably with a little input from the owner.

we have brought depth in. that is something we needed to do. the problem with that is , it was all on the defensive side of the ball. yes gainwell was a hit but throughout the O-line, WR side of the ball we are seriously lacking good depth. wr, d-line, o-line have to be priorities in this draft.
