Art Rooney's hands are tied.
Tomlin runs the show.

 

Tomlin doesn't understand that... He very rarely plays to win... He plays not to lose, and that's a major reason why the Steelers are a very low-ceiling team

 

This is a problem since a long time now

 

I've been making that argument for years and years. The Tomlin Troll Team doesn't comprehend the basics though.

 

That first run play in that video was sooooooooooo bad.

 

Harrison just running his mouth and sites like Steelersdepot give him what he wants exposure for his podcast.

 

We also questioned Roethlisberger play plenty of times losing to inferior QBs.

 

Maybe, but that has nothing to do with what he said.

 

Then he needs to shut up he didn't lead by 20 points in every game so don't expect this team to do it.

 

He is not wrong that the steelers are a bad second half team this year with the last bengals game as one of the few exception for this year.Their collapse for the game against the packers were brutal

 

Kind of like this forum for all of us posters.

Doesn't mean the opinions are necessarily wrong.

 

I just think Harrison and Ben like to be overly critical for attention and get views for their podcasts.

 

That's the downside of the internet... every one is a critic and takes it to the extreme.... I do see the irony in saying that.

 

The National Media is starting to talk more about Tomlin's coaching. I have seen it discussed on Cowherd and now Jim Rome.



The media sharks are smelling blood.

The irony is that Coach Tomlin can turn the narrative around by doing a good job and winning games, like against the Colts.

 

Like everyone knows the play calling is a JOKE that isn't funny. More than a hand full of Horrible plays during the Chargers game had to be on purpose. . There just isn't that much Stupid. !

 

Cause that's what he's hid behind.. until now. Buff gonna blow him out, then hopefully ravens then how much money is he gonna ask Rooney for? What will be the plan next year huh tomlin? Money can't help you, your a bad coach I don't care what color you are or how much moneys thrown at you and bad coaches need to be fired

 

I'd take Pickens over your dumb azz as a fan and Tomlin as a coach. Pickens with Rodgers plus this running game and muth would have been win. But your one of those love to lose Pittsburgh fans. Principal over design huh . Time to change the principal and design. Fire Tomlin and entire staff do it after this game, we don't need him against bmore and we def don't need him next year

 

Let's put aside the inarticulate manner in which you express yourself and focus on the ignorance within your post. Nobody has been ripping the Steelers for trading Pickens more than me. I have blamed Tomlin for that and called for him to be fired last week. Next time, try knowing what you are talking about before you post.

 

As far as I know, it was Chuck Noll's decision to walk away. It was Bill Cowher's decision to walk away. It appears that Mike Tomlin has no intentions of walking away. The Rooneys have not had to fire a head coach in recent history, but they need to get that experience now. I have much respect for Mike Tomlin, but it's past time for him and his staff to move on!

 

Rumor had it that the Rooneys were nudging him out the door. It might have been a mutual parting.
