And having Washington/Gainwell try to handle Sweat alone was not a smart move. Nor was sticking to deep outside balls when they weren't working and the middle should have been was not great, either.

And that's with KC being mediocre so far, but we know that won't last. They'll be one of the teams we're going to be fighting with for a playoff spot, and that's not a good thing.
Throw in the Texans with their ridiculous defence, and it's not looking good for a 2nd team from the North to get in. We basically have to win the division.

You are right and it was such a massacre that I am of the opinion that Tomlin will never beat him ever.

Was that a Pierre problem or a coaching late/slow play call problem

Agree on all, the secondary was indeed bad today, plagued again by miscommunication, guys looked lost.

Huh? Tomlin and McDaniel have only coached against one another once. The Dolphins won by three thanks to a late interception. That's a funny definition of owning.

I am in no mind to look up records, but I remember a game where Dolphins converted 3rd downs to seal a victory and it was just the scheme rather than talent. Felt helpless on defense. Sort of how Rodgers must have felt against Green Bay.

The scary part is that if Williams wasn’t off on many throws over the middle this would have been 40 plus easy. Guys were WIDE open all game between the hashes.

Do we win today with a healthy Aaron Rodgers?

Better coaching on both sides of the ball would help this team alot

Neither of them play defense but I’ll admit I thought Mason would have played better than he did today. I think the offensive scheme and lack of playmakers is the bigger problem than who is at QB between the two.

#1- said this earlier in the week. It's been his Achilles heel since entering the league. And it hasn't gotten better and it's why he is not a starter.

Nah, Tomlin will find a way to get his mediocre 9-8.

Hard to say. But we needed a score to win it. I think the starter who has played with the team for 9 games this season could muster at least an additional field goal to make it a tie at the end of regulation.
But again, it's hard to say because Rodgers has his own pocket and throwing quirks at this point.

maybe, AR can read defenses better but hes slow back there. Were our receivers open? Thats the question.

I missed the game but seems the defense regressed after finding its footing moving Ramsey to safety and bringing in Dugger.

How would you sum up the defense today?

Things went South after the failed tush push. We had to gain 6 inches and couldn’t do that.
