2013 Training Camp Dates

    Although the complete training camp schedule isn't out yet, here is the initial breakdown of key dates to mark on the calendar.

    Friday, July 26th - Team reports to camp.

    Saturday, July 27 - First practice open to public. 3-5 PM

    Monday, July 29 - First practice in pads.

    Friday, August 2nd- Friday night lights.

    Wednesday, August 14th- Night practice from 5:30 - 7:30 PM.

    Saturday, August 17th - Last practice open to public.

    Sunday, August 18th - Training camp ends.

    I wish they would put out that Word Doc or Excel Doc they used to with all the dates/info...made it easier to figure out when I'd be going, haha.

    I have been three times. This year will be my fourth, if all goes according to plan. My wife is from Buffalo, so almost every summer we head back there for a week, at the end of July, beginning of August. I usually rent a car and drive down for the day. It's about a three-hour drive. But WELL WORTH IT!

    I am going to try to time my trip to Latrobe to coincide with the Pirates' double-header vs Cardinals on July 30th.
