What trips me out, is Tomlin knew what george was like in college.

The shield (NFL). I swear some people actually do want flag football and a QB to have 5 second before being rushed.

GP has looked awesome this year. I know MT couldn’t control him but man this trade is really looking bad right now.

It's also looking bad we got DK for 140 million and coughed up a second. Yet he's not being involved enough and being doubled.

It's stupid we let pickens go without a replacement in mind.

    Dang straight I do.
    - I'm a UGA kid (old man now)
    - I like hot headed players that can back it up. Bryant, Ocho, moss, DK.
    - it's stupid we let him go for a third. And stupid we didn't have a replacement.

it's clear you don't, yet your feelings are severally hurt. So how about go play in the other threads with your friends who also can't handle holding a football up to another player...... I'm also honestly shocked you were ok with Ramsey getting mad and throwing a punch.

Yes, I know. I can’t remember if he was in on trading him or not?

    Thats fair.

Edit: As much as I loved the Monday Night Massacre game vs the Bills in the 90's I realize that player safety is important up to a certain point. When you have over regulated it to the point that the rules impact the outcome of the game that's when the league needs to back up take a hard look at itself and address some ridiculous rules. If you can get an unnecessary roughness call for simply sacking the QB because of a subjective interpretation of putting full body wieght into a QB then that's too far.

I don't think he would been as good with us in the steelers offense. And we all know Pickens was an incredible talent, and in his contract year, he was going to be fine for his attitude, but when the honeymoon will be over next year, will he still be fine for his attitude?

We see him occasionally lack effort again this year when he knows the ball isn't going his way, and things like that... He also missed the first series of his offense yesterday because of discipline.

We can criticize the Steelers for a lot of things, but for this trade, I can understand why they made it... Their mistake was drafting him in 2022... Normally, a player of his talent doesn't slip like that in a draft, but his attitude was a red flag, and it still is.

Yep, I’ll take the L on that one. They used to feed Lamb only on that offense, clearly Pickens has made Dax comfortable throwing to someone else other than Lamb.

He still wouldn’t be doing that here ;)

Our offense is so anemic by just having one good WR why can’t they see this?

The problem is that they haven't been able to find a decent replacement once again... One of the main reasons why the Steelers deserve a lot of criticism.

But the receivers aren't the only problem... Rodgers' fear of getting hit is the biggest issue, and I don't think Pickens would have the same success in Pittsburgh as he did in Dallas.

He wouldn't put up exactly the same numbers, but there is no doubt he has been far better than Metcalf. The Steelers should have kept both. They messed up and crippled the offense.

Oh no, y'all called it! Wow!..... are your eyes ok? Did you have to leave your light on so you could sleep last night? Very you crawled between your mommy and daddy last night too

It only took y'all ten games and y'all have no idea what it was for.

Oh, by the way, the coach gave them a big hug later in the game.

.... oh one other thing, Pickens is the daddy to any WR the Steelers have had since he entered the league.

Picked her would have allowed DK to not be double covered with a safety playing over the top.

It's not about pickens putting up the same numbers here. It's altitude getting grandpa more options to make a play happen.

They got a third for him a year earlier than if he left in free agency.

Maybe but up until a few weeks ago they were averaging like 25 PPG IIRC.
