Here is a thought for you......

The Browns started the season with 5 QBs on the roster. They have 1 on the PS (who is no good), 1 on the PUP (Watson, achilleas), traded away Flaco and 2 on the roster.

Dillon Gabriel just left the game due to a head injury. Sanders is now in for his first ever NFL game. So they are now down to 1 QB if Gabriel goes into concussion protocol. Bet they are regretting giving Flaco away if Gabriel is out for a while.

After 2 possessions, Sanders is 2/5 with an interception, a fumble (not lost) and 2 sacks. Rating of 8.3

Guess the NFL is a bit different than playing for Dad on the Buffaloes against relatively easy opponents with Travis Hunter to make you look good. (not a Sanders fan if you can't tell......lol)

Why? I cannot understand why they take Gabriel two rounds earlier, then take Sanders. Makes no sense. They would have done better to keep Flacco and both of those picks to trade up to get a solid player at another position of need. Instead, they got a kid in Gabriel, who, God Bless him, just doesn't seem to have it at the pro level and a complete bum in Sanders.

I don't think they was a touch back. His knee hit before he touched the goal line

If not that was a dumb ST pay. The ball is rolling back and he grabs it and touches the end zone. Totally unnecessary

Year after year of absolutely awful decision making. Watching Mayfield play has to make Browns fans sick.

Damn, Browns just had what looked like an incredible punt save. They ruled it a touchback, but it sure did not look like it to me. The ball should be on the 6 inch line. Won't be surprised if it is challenged.

I agree. I doubt Mayfield would have taken them to the Promised Land, but they sure would be a hell of a lot more competitive and fun to watch.
