Well, the "negotiation" between multi-billion dollar companies has come to a head and YouTube TV blinked first. Now YTTV has lost ESPN/ABC, (which includes SEC network) until they can work out some kind of deal with Disney. To do it week 10 of college FB was calculated and greedy by Disney and the moneygrubbing mouse.

The main reason I have YTTV is for college FB and now I've got to find another way to watch the Vols hosting Oklahoma tomorrow night. Disney is hoping YTTV subs will be pissed and drop them in favor of Hulu or fubo or stream ESPN which are all owned by Disney. Or YTTV will have to agree to Disney's price increases which means our price will likely increase 10-20 bucks. Either way, this isn't going to get worked out before the game Saturday.

For those of you with YTTV, what options are you looking at to watch FB? Paying Disney to stream ESPN/SEC pisses me off but may be what I'll have to do because watching a stream on a small laptop screen sucks.

That game is on local TV here on ABC.
I have tried telling people that said streaming was the way to go because it's cheaper to just give it time, and it won't be

15 years ago I didn't have to stream, every single Steelers game, Razorbacks game, and anything I wanted to watch came on one place, Direct TV, and it was worthit for me to not have to look here, and there, just push a button, and there it was. Now it doesn't matter what You have , if you want to watch every game, You must have different streaming services, and that's not even counting different shows, and movies you want to see. One will have this, one will have that, and different will have that.

I have historically had cable or directv and used to pay for Sunday ticket. I switched to at&t fiber with YouTube tv about 4 years ago because my cable/internet bills had ballooned to over $250/month. I got 1Gbps internet for $65 and YouTube tv for $70 a month. It was perfect because I got all the sports channels I wanted as well as the local channels and was saving over 100 bucks a month. Now Disney is trying to bury them. YouTube tv was started with the intent of providing a quality streaming service for a reasonable price. People who think it's the streaming provider who is taking advantage of the consumer are off base. It's the conglomerate Disney who is trying to monopolize access to sports by requiring you to subscribe to their own stuff. Eliminating competition in this space is not a good idea in my opinion. But I posted this thread to see what other people are using and what other options are out there.

    Disney is the devil
And don’t get me started with the political race baiting ESPN
    BOTH are trash
Youtubers do better sports journalism than what they got there
Pay Stephen A and Ryan Clark millions and expect the viewers to pay more
Heres an idea get rid of them classless employees and take care of your customers

If you order your streaming services at the right time it’s far cheaper. In about 3 weeks you can get some great deals on streaming services. Every year I sign up for a few for $1-2 a month for a year. You have to remember to cancel so you don’t end up with a surprise on your cc bill

Not sure the college games you want are on there but I have been using Sling TV Day Pass (orange) with Sports Extra ($6) to watch the NHL Network Pens games.

Disney content is back on YouTube tv as of last night, so it was a 2 week outage. I gave in and signed up for Hulu + live TV 2 weeks ago so I could get SEC and ESPN. It is canceled after the 1 month I paid for and I'm back to youtube now. Hulu is terrible from a quality standpoint. Freezing, buffering, pixelation. Really really bad. When I called their support, they blamed it on my internet connection which is fiber getting around 1.4 Gbps and 15 ms or less of latency. Needless to say, I'm not happy with Disney at all and hate that I gave them $65 bucks just to watch SEC football for 2 weeks.

you probably already did but you should be able to get $20 back from YTTV

How to claim your $20 YouTube TV credit
    1. Sign in to YouTube TV on a web browser.
    2. Click on your profile picture, then go to Settings.
    3. In the left-side menu, select Updates (some users report looking under "Disney content" or a similar section).
    4. Click "Claim credit."
