Tomlin had enough talent but he ended up with only 3 playoff wins in the last 14 years. Thats not a FA problem, its a coaching problem imo. You can disagree, thats fine. I hope Tomlin quiets all the doubters and we get in the playoffs and make some noise. But we do have a track record under Tomlin of underachievement and losing to teams we were heavily favored over. That didnt happen under Noll because of his detailed preparation - not because he had more talent than Tomlin, and it really wasnt as much of a difference as your making it out to be.

One player with a positive attitude to the Steelers at the time was Terry Bradshaw. “They’re a wonderful organisation,” he said. “I don’t ever want to go anywhere else. Plus we’ve got a winning team here.”

Go and listen to Jack Lambert’s HOF speech.

I will paraphrase; if I had to do it again, I’d damn sure be a Pittsburgh Steeler.

Words to that affect, but you get the idea.

If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler!

Okay then why didn't Noll win more Super Bowls after all of those greats from the 70s retired, it had a lot to do with having more talent than the other teams.

See You are moving the goal post again. We were talking about Noll not having to go through the Free Agency process like today, and automatically you jump to Tomlins . Some of You are totally obsessed with Tomlin.
No matter what the conversation is, some of You must bring him up in it.
Me: Hey you know if started pulling the guard to the right on a fake , we my draw more Defenders that way on play action pass.

Other board members: Yeah I seen that work a few times, but we should run that play as a actual run play a few times 1st.
    Me: Yeah good Idea.

Tomlin obsessed guys on the board: Well you know Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in so, and so time.
You people say we love Tomlin, but you guys can't carry on a conversation without mentioning his name. No matter what its about.
    LoL

Really? And some of you guys blame Ben, or FA or a lack of defensive talent, for the poor playoff record in the last 14 years. But never the coaches. Tomlin seems infallible to you. Sure seems that way, maybe you’re the obsessed one. And its Funny, i’ve not heard you bring up the stubborn refusal of the coaches to have the corners jam the receivers, or get creative on blitzes, or why we seemed so ill prepared in our more recent playoff games with Ben. You’re ignoring the root cause of our problems. Alot of our problems on offense a couple years ago stemmed from Canada’s play design, thats coaching or a lack thereof. The management finally acknowledged it. Coaching issues are very real, and you ignoring it is silly.

We all acknowledge the coaches, and who is good , and who is bad, but some of You can't complete a freaking sentence, no matter what its about without adding Tomlins name to it. That is called a obvious obsession.
