    Detroit starter was unbelievable
Mariners were happy to see him pulled after 6 innings

He hasn't done much with his bat so far. Looks good on the mound. Hopefully, he'll start connecting in the box!

Had 55 hrs this season as a hitter
    And yes
    A dam good pitcher
    Never seen such an athlete
Going back and showing my age
But I think there was a pitcher named Brett
    Also was a good hitter

I suppose pitchers don't spend much time practicing hitting.

In the National League of course
American League has dh for as long as I can remember

Fernando was a pretty good hitter. Of course, Babe Ruth, hell, even Koufax hit a home run once............Once!

Well Front Row Amy was sweet to watch but her boys lost game 1.

Mariners trying hard for their first ever WS visit.

I'll miss you Front Row Amy with your ample bosom. I think the Dodgers will sweep.

Looking like a West Coast WS with LA and Seattle getting dominant Ws first 2 games on the road. You old guys in the east will have to set your alarm clocks to wake up late to catch these games live. :lolol:

I'd like to see Brewers (only been to 1 WS and lost) and Mariners who never have been to the WS. Looks like damn Dodgers will get there yet again.

For all the people who complain about the Pirates payroll,
Not sure how we're doing it what with Roberts' head scratching decisions, weak bullpen and Ohtani being..........2 for 25? Something like that.

I wonder if the Jays used up all their mojo in one game.
I remember a game late in the season when my Royals opened up on Mad Max and got him out of the game in the first inning. The first reliever gave up another 3-4 runs in 2 innings. Then the Jays put a position player in to pitch in maybe the 4th inning with ready pitchers still in the bullpen. The guy was just lobbing strikes right down the middle and our batters were lighting them up. I think that game ended up 20-1, in that ludicrous neighborhood. Even the announcers got bored.
I don't think we had very many multi-homer games after that. Used them all up in a batting practice game.
