As long as Callahan remains unemployed, he will be making $3 million per year until 2028.

Well, the Titans signed him to a five-year contract back in January 2024. According to Spotrac, Callahan was getting paid around $3 million per year. Now, the Titans will continue to pay that all the way until 2028.

It depends on whether how the contract is redacted, but usually, the coaches’ money will still get paid once they’re fired. A few years ago, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that the NFL teams pay up to $800 million on fired coaches and front-office executives.

Serious question who likes our current OL coach?
    Can we do better?

Cam Ward is on pace to be sacked 70 times this season.

I am no fan of Myers, but say no to Callahan.

And this is with the Steelers paying ~ $0 since approximately the Nixon administration (with the exception of Matt Canada).

when an elite assistant coach comes available, you take him.

i don't think we pay assistant coaches much, a drawback, but I'd like him.

They looked pretty good last week and Christmas will be here soon. All the box stores started having their Christmas stuff on sale 3 weeks ago. Talk about JC, can we get thru Halloween first?

Matt Canada should have been paying all the fans to watch his master craft or actually disaster craft.

Bill Callahan resigned after his son was canned. I would assume the Titans aren't on the hook for any money with his contract since he voluntarily quit.

So in the midst of a 4-1 start to the season, and with the O-line showing improvement each week, let's fire our O-line coach and bring in a guy who went 4-19...

Agee that the line is starting to come together. Still not ideal or even average but is improving. I do hope though that at the end of the year we do see Meyers for what he truly is, which is not a NFL caliber coach, and don’t make the same mistake we did with Canada

That's kind of just like when Fields got yanked for Wilson last season... so why not change the loser OL coach?

Because the line is performing well, and the team is winning.

I am also not a fan of Pat Meyer. But the line has improved each week. They are starting to gel. Now is not the time to make changes. Let's not forget the Steelers are coming off of a game where the great Miles Garrett was made to be invisible. I would say that's progress.

I wouldn't make a change right now if he wanted to come and be a senior analyst that would be better.

Six games with a clueless rookie quarterback and no talent on the offensive line does not wipe out a long career of building rock-solid offensive lines.
