Questionable really means 75% likey.

 

Questionable covers a wide variety of possibilities. It used to be a lot more detailed before they got rid of the Probable designation. I don't see teams using Doubtful all that often. Unless I missed one, there is only one player listed as Doubtul in the NFL injury reports for this week on NFL.com. Everyone is either Questionable or Out.

Take the Steelers any week and see how many players shut up and play that are questionable.

If it is way more than 50%.

And probably more than 75% of the listed players suit up.



Questionable really means 65-7o% or so players play.
Probable means 90% do play.

I suppose you want the strait dope. Okay. In 2023–2024, ~65–70% of questionable players suited up, per fantasy and betting trackers. Early-week listings (Wednesday) are ~99% likely to play if they reach Friday as questionable.
