I have no idea who the alleged AR haters are but I was rooting for him to come here

But with that said he looks more like he should be sitting at the end of the bar with me watching the game rather than starting QB

It would be interesting to see the game by game breakdown and snap count of man vs zone. i assume Seattle was more man coverage? Maybe Jets? I recall Rodgers mentioning that Vikes never ran the Cover 0 they prepared for.

You trust the Titans with decision making?

I trust the QB abilities of Rodgers... but not the run blocking and pass protection of the O line. Steelers will go as far as the O line takes us.

Must admit Brady looked a hell of a lot better at that age then Aaron.

It's a legitimate question and I'm not sure why teams haven't tried to man up more on the Steelers. While the Steelers receivers have speed they aren't exactly Shaq clones.

So you're comparing Rodgers to someone that did the unprecedented. How many QBs are starters in the NFL at age 41? There have probably been more men on the moon. How many QBs are still playing at age 41? I never liked Brady but sure got a lot of respect for how well he played in the NFL at age 40 and beyond. Truly Unprecedented.

Rodgers is still standing compared to his ounger division QBs that are all hurt: Burrow, Jackson and Watson.

Looks, not football skills. The Steeler women of my family always pissed me off saying how hot Tommy boy was. Same age as Rodgers but doesn't looked as weathered.

Not game by game but here's the breakdown by team. Steelers have faced predominantly zone defenses thus far. But note the Browns will be an interesting test as they play almost equal man and zone schemes. Rodgers and receivers will need to be at the top of their game:

    Brady gushes over AR

"Beyond impressed," Brady said, referencing Rodgers' strong start with the Steelers. "I think at that age, there are so many other factors that come into play about how to be a great quarterback. You know, we all want to talk about what happens in the offseason with him, and there are a lot of narratives. But what we know about him on the field is he’s a surgical passer. He’s got a killer instinct. He’s hypercompetitive. And I think he’s brought all those things to Pittsburgh."

I've watched Rogers in camp, since training camp.
He brings a lot of extra's to the table.

He most definitely has Arthur Smith's ear, and they work stuff in.
He has the players respect, and he works like a field general.
Massive influence on the team. We hadn't had that in a while.

The only knock I have is, next time you are in 4th and short, put the ball in Rogers hands.

Our Running Game is showing signs of life.
Our passing game which has been hampered by subpar blocking and lack of talent not named Metcalf, is sparking a little.
The longer the defense sits on the sideline, the better they play.

There's a lot of thin ice, a injury or two more could jeopardize a good season.
I'm really pulling for Rogers to make a special ending to his career...

I wasn't in either camp when the "will he or won't he" was happening all season. The one thing that I've been beyond impressed with is all the intangibles we've heard about. The way he has been hanging around the young players and his door always being open during camp for anyone who wanted to come in and talk football. What an amazing resource for a young player.
