What's Cookin? first place bye week edition

So what are plant based tips? Isn't that fake meat? Do you use it because you or others are vegan or just a preferred choice, possibly less expensive?

 

My London Broil was plant based
medium rare sitting on a base of mushroom swisschard rice

 

It’s not sirloin

If it’s plant based it’s not meat

If it didn’t come from a tit it’s not milk

Why eat something and lie about what you are eating

 

I guess technically my bacon is apple based since pigs eat apples

 

I’m a gardener and I was looking at the gardens all over Switzerland that had big green leafy vegetables growing

I kept wondering with my wife what it was maybe it was some form of kale

After two weeks I googled it and it was Swiss chard

Suddenly I felt like an idiot

 

most meat is plant based. isn't that what they eat?

 

Turned out it was shrimp etouffee the whole time.

 

Need my caffeine too and a big wad of nicotine afterwards.
