This season will probably follow the script from the last game.

Leading the race, then someone catches up and almost steals it away.

And if He was playing here when He said it, many people would have said it was Tomlins fault. See how dumb that is.

He can say that, because he doesn't have to back that $hit up.
Why is it that after a lot of these players are done they have to ruin my like for them.
    From Bradshaw to Ben.
Ben can't keep his mouth shut, and Bradshaw can't either , and hasn't found a Steeler, or anything to do with the Steelers that he agrees with ever.

He doesn't, that's more you younger generation thing, I have many friends I don't agree with, But when you start running your mouth about teams your aren't even playing against, shut your mouth about it. And Bradshaw hasn't liked anyone in the Steelers from C. Noll to Ben, to Tomlin. He's a cry baby. Hell He went how many years before he would even come back to Pittsburgh? That's weak.

Are you blaming that loss on Roethlisberger?

Ben is becoming another Ryan Clark run their mouth too much, before the Vikings game he said he thinks the Steelers are going to get outcoached. Then he shows up to Ireland standing on the Steelers sideline .

He has opinions, this board is full of them. Why do you guys get so worked up about it.

Hell, half this board thought they’d get out coached. Kudos to Tomlin and staff, they had a good plan. Except for the very end, they called a good game.

I just think it's a crappy thing to say about his former HC then want to be all hugs and kisses in Ireland, sometimes these athletes just say stuff to get people to listen to their podcasts IMO.

Agree...and his opinions given his experience in the NFL and the organization I'm going to tend to value them a little higher than many on this board.

If I were Tomlin I would have sent him to the media suite. ;)

It's the one playoff loss I put 90% on Tomlin's shoulders. He was outcoached by a HC that wasn't even on the field. His defense was completely schooled the entire game. That is one that Tomlin owns.

btw, since I'm relatively new here I am sure there is a 50 page thread on that game so I won't get into the rehash.

Ben threw 4 interceptions and watched a fumble sit on the goal line and rather than falling on it he watched a Brown player take it for a touchdown

None of that is on Tomlin none

All of that is on Ben all

All except the play snapped over his head. The RB should have jumped on it. Your a young RB, and Your a Qb is 80 years old , jump on it. Also If Pouncey didn't snap it to the freaking birds we would have never gotten in that problem.

They lost the turnover battle 5-0 it didn't matter if the Browns didn't have their HC.

He also threw for over 500 yards and 4TD's plus set the NFL record that still stands with 47 completions. Plus he put 37 points on the board which should have been plenty enough to win the game.

I don't like when fans start saying we're going to be 5-1, the Browns aren't going to just roll over we saw the 3-0 Chargers lose to the winless Giants with a rookie QB. They have a good opportunity to get to 5-1 but I wouldn't be counting them as guaranteed wins just yet.

The Steelers' defense was 2nd in takeaways that year but they didn't show up in the most important game of the season. Tomlin got schooled.

Of the 0-6 playoff streak this game remains the one I put mostly on the HC. All the others the finger can be pointed mostly at players for the losses.
