    It’s a shame
God gives someone like him talent
And yet he treats others like dogs
    No sympathy
Just waiting for someone to say he didn’t do anything wrong

I myself do not condone the behavior off the field. That is unacceptable by itself. I do have empathy for him as he proved that, even without Mahomes, he was more than just the deep threat so many pinned him as. In fact, of his five First Team All Pros, two of them were with the Dolphins.

Moreover to the point, 2022 and 2023 were his best seasons as a Pro. That is something he did with a QB who is far inferior to Mahomes in just about every way. Hill made Tua more than serviceable.

That said, I do believe this likely is the end. I also agree that he has to face up to his crimes. Just didn't think it would have to be his NFL Career.

What people have in their soul and character way more important to me than their athletic ability.
I will not sell my soul to the devil for a championship in any sport nor will I support these type of players!
Still a bitter pill the Steelers signed Vick. Wrong, anyway you look at it.
Remember, you don’t have to believe in God or the Devil
But you know what is real?

I do believe in a higher power actually. I also believe in forgiveness. Good book does say forgive your enemies.

The hardest thing to do for certain.

    We should forgive
But there has to be consequences for one’s actions
That is also in the good book
    You shall obey man’s laws

This is tough to let slide. I have known a lot of “church going” people who like to tell others about themselves but lead crappy lives themselves.

He might not be a good person, but I always wish the best for people. That is what my faith is grounded in.

    Agreed
    Still doesn’t absolve his actions
How would you feel if it was your mom or sister?
Also, I dont go to church
I am no where near perfect and I guess I shouldn’t judge
    But wrong is wrong
And yet since he plays sports, should give him a hall pass?

I’m not condoning his behavior, but I won’t lower myself to celebrate an injury or be happy that someone’s career has ended.

Is this why Ben never won another SB after Georgia?

    Just wondering how this works?

While I respect the way he plays and the work he has put in to make himself a complete player and I would never wish an injury like that on anybody, I will shed no tears for Hill. His ongoing pattern of abusive behavior toward women is inexcusable. I can acknowledge that it sucks to see anyone hurt like that and keep in mind that he is a terrible person who should have faced league discipline before now. I do think this is the end of Hill's career. I doubt he will come back to the same level and teams will decide the baggage isn't worth it. I wouldn't be surprised if someone from the league office quietly reaches out and suggests he call it a career so they don't have to do anything about the latest accusations.

Georgia happened before February of 2009 when Steelers won their last Super Bowl.

It is a game played for our entertainment. I do not cheer, hope for or find any pleasure in any player getting injured. They are very well played to take that chance, but when it does happen, I cringe and feel bad for the guy. I would feel this way even if it had been Vontaze Burfict who was injured. I hope that Hill has a complete recovery and can play again (just not for the Steelers, I don't want him here).
