    The OL.

Maybe they will actually start to gel and improve week over week. That would change everything IMO.

Less Pat F and getting another guy who can actually block in the run game can help too.

I think we will see more Freiermuth when they want to go with a more pass-oriented approach. I don't think they are going to be able to impose their will on the Browns they way they did it to the Vikings.

That said, the play of the line Sunday was very encouraging. I agree that their development could change everything for this team.

I don’t think the Vikings are any slouch. Not as good as the Browns up front but no cupcake. I was impressed by the push they got.

The Falcons trampled them for 218 yards rushing two weeks earlier. The Bears and Bengals couldn't run on them, but neither of those teams has a good running game.

The OL can and will get better every week

4 of 5 guys are youngsters

But what is their ceiling it’s too early to judge

So far there is room for optimism

I do not have the same disdain for Pat Meyer as many do I believe he has done a lot to get these youngsters playing when in the past they would still be on the bench learning

I agree and they are going to have a major challenge in their next matchup vs Browns and if they are just average against their front 4,it will be a great sign for the rest of the year

Today is my birthday. And I'm reaching that point where I'm calling a 25 year old a youngster. It's strange to me and strange to hear others saying it as well.

Yet I look at heyward and I'm like, that boy is old.
Or seeing them do a close up of Rodgers and swing his wrinkles abs i think the same.

Yet them two old farts are younger than me.

    This.

If anything, my dream scenario is that the young Offensive Line would get things rolling heading out of the bye week. Should yesterday be a good springboard for them, they will be further ahead than I gave them credit for. Broderick Jones is beginning to come into his own no less.

To be able to stonewall one of the best EDGE Players in Johnathan Bullard repeatedly?! That is a testament to his growth for certain. Troy Fautanu also had a nice bounce back game as well.

We all want instant chemistry and success with the OL but I guess a lot of the 'wise heads' have reminded over the weeks and months that it might take time to gel. Something you don't get lots of in the NFL of course. It definitely looked a nice step forward from the first few games. Without expecting for too much I hope we continue on that positive trajectory.

I like Jones. He's done stupid stuff, but I like that he learns from it to stopping it. I think in a few years our discussions on him are going to be vastly different to how they were last year.

I have loved and believed in Jones ever since he was Khan's first ever selection. He did have a tumultuous 2024 Campaign and that cannot be ignored. Moving back to the Left Side, I anticipated growing pains. Now, to the level of severity that I saw during Weeks 1 to 3?! Oh absolutely not. The same shortcomings he had as a Right Tackle ended up veering their ugly head as the Left Tackle. Thankfully though, it seems as if he has gotten more and more of his confidence back.

I do hope that continues for him. For that matter, the entire Offense will depend on it. Out of the gate in the bye week awaits Myles Garrett. Like him or hate him, dude is a First Ballot HOF EDGE. Time to see what Broderick is truly made of.

It's going to be telling how Jones is against Garrett.

    Troy Fautanu as well.

Troy is performing as I expected him to; green with lots of promise. Definitely some promising snaps but also some teaching moments as well. If anything, the entire Offensive Line is the X Factor against the Browns.

Side Note: Mason Graham is definitely making me eat some crow. He is performing better than expected.

Biggest reason for optimism? Jones' head is finally starting to get in the game, and Rodgers personally thanked him!
