I am happy at 3-1, but I seem to have seen this movie last year.

I hope the ending is different.

 

Games that looked easy before on the schedule look tougher now. Colts will not be an easy win. They beat us with Flacco and Indiana Dimes is a better QB than Flacco right now. Green Bay will be epic because of the Love vs Rodgers dynamic. Hope the D is ready for Packers WRs. Bears and Williams are much improved. Chargers are the only team that have regressed on the schedule before we get the usual shellacking from Buffalo/Allen.

This is why I'm still not big on guys that are required to run to play the position. How many other Qbs do you know that can't play because they pulled a hamstring??? I've seen many Qbs play with braces, and yet as soon as Lamar Jackson tweaks a leg, he can't play Qb. We seen him miss a whole end of a season before with a ankle sprain. I don't ever want to rely on a Qb if they can only run.

 

I noticed he thought kicking the field goal was dumb, he was wrong. I noticed when Vikings got the ball , and You can go back , and listen, He said We.....We still have a chance here. We ??? We??? Why didn't he just holler.....I'm rooting for the VIKINGS ???

 

The Colts may not be easy, but Jones will make mistakes if you pressure him. He did some of that in the loss yesterday.

I never thought the game against Green Bay would be easy. The Bears are decent, but an opponent they can beat. The Chargers are 3-1, so I'm not sure why you think they are so much weaker than what we thought they would be to start the season. One loss to a bad team does not erase three good performances.

Just this year.
I watched a Green Bay team everyone told me was now a awesome team get beat by the Browns, and then tie with the Cowboys. I watched a Chargers team most said is the new AFC bad a$$ get beat by the Giants. You mess around, and any team in the NFL will beat you. They are all professionals, all have 1st round draft picks, and all get to spend around the same money. This isn't college football.

I didn't say the game vs Green Bay was gonna be easy... said it was gonna be EPIC, because of Rodgers/Love situation. Steelers will likely get their asses handed to them... like they will vs Lions and Bills later this year.

 

I took that as him putting himself in the place of the Vikings' players and coaches, not aligning himself with them. He will utter the occasional awkward phrase like that, but overall, he does a good job.

 

I do believe he does a good job, but I have never heard him say something like that before, and I was like .....What!!

 

Steelers currently are better than 21 other teams

 

So we are splitting hairs...I said easier, not easy. Meaning some teams are tougher than others.

 

I don't disagree with that, however, I don't think anyone would disagree that Lions, Bills, Chiefs a little "easier" than Jets, Seahawks, Pats....

 

We took the delay of game on purpose to give the punter more room. Sure we could have gone for it but if we didnt make it we would have almost guaranteed a tie game. Its easy for Olson to be confident from the booth. I dont think Tomlin was comfortable going power run with gainwell or putting Johnson out there with the game on the line.

I never said anything about announcers thinking for me, I just said I agreed with what Olsen said, he was decisive in that moment while the Steelers were not

 

It looks like the Bengals will lose on MNF to go to 2-2, meaning the Steelers will be all alone in first place at 3-1.

 

The Eagles had zero, zilch 0yds passing in second half against Bucs! Yet they won, I have never ever seen a team get 0 yds passing in a half.

We'll get trashed in the playoffs, but the division is quickly becoming ours to lose with everyone else's injuries.

Rest of the AFC looks very beatable minus Buffalo and Kansas City. Indianapolis isn't going to be easy given how Pittsburgh has lost two straight but I do believe the team now has the IDL Pieces to contend with them. For that matter, whomever wins the AFC South is the opponent I'd want personally in the Playoffs. All those teams are either performing well below expectations to not very good.


Does this mean I fully believe Pittsburgh can go far?! No, it doesn't. Do I believe that this team can at least get a playoff win?! I do; at least for now.

 

If offensive line surpasses expectations and produce 100 yrd rushing games and keeps Rogers upright I think we will be better than people think especially if our defense does their part
