The Stains and Ratbirds both took a gluteal pummeling and are tied at 1-3. The Bungholes are 2-1 and play tomorrow night.
I know it is early to be encouraged, but the Steelers at 3-1 could possibly sit alone atop the division tomorrow. Technically they do now.
The Stains used to fire head coaches with regularity, but I realized that they have not fired one since 2019. That may change if they keep on stinking up the joint.
Joe Flacco has six interceptions in four games. Yuck.
If you think Steeler fans are down on the head coach, you should see Browns fans. They seem to be such tortured souls, seemingly cursed forever by a team owner who makes the worst personnel decisions ever. Go check out one of their forums sometime.
The early season stinkitude of the Ratbirds has taken me by surprise. Surely they will rise above the Browns as the season progresses, as cream will separate from dog crap over time, if the mixture is left alone.

Seems when a team has to go against the top teams in the league in consecutive weeks while dealing with some internal issues, they may struggle a bit huh?!

Wonder why we didn't get a Hard Knocks division this year with one team having all their top games scheduled during the filming period?

As much as people have complained about our defense, it's likely that after tomorrow we have the #1 scoring defense in the division.

True but the browns have the best defense in this division....their offense put them too often in bad field position like today or the game vs ravens in week 2

Browns are in tank mode. Heck even their almost, but not quite, sack leader barely cracked the stats sheet today with only two solo tackles

Ravens schedule has been brutal. If LJ returns, they will sand bag wins.

After 4 weeks all of the teams in the division have a negative point differential!

Yea if Lamar is healthy/stays healthy they will start ripping off wins during this part of the schedule. Why it’s so important for us to not drop winnable games against backup QBs.

I agree but if their injuries are slow to comeback and their defense don't play better, they are in huge trouble....

Baltimore will still end up being a good team.

They've had a brutal early schedule (Bills, Browns, Lions, KC).

But we're talking care of business (never pretty). So I think it will look kind of like last year where they are charging hard at the end of the season and we're trying to hold them off. As usually, we play them 2x in the last month of the season (Dec 7 and Jan 4).

Really got to win the next two IMO. Get those division games in the win column.

I would say the same is true of Ravens fans right now. Their message boards are ablaze. Everything from fire Harbaugh to trade this person or that person.

Teams in the NFL are good. Even the ones with bad records can beat you on any game day. There are no teams you 'should' beat. It's not like the college game. The NFL has no trap weeks. Better bring it best you can each game or you will lose.

I said in another post Pittsburgh needs to be 5-1 after Cleveland and Cincy games after the bye week. The schedule gets much harder and we have fizzled down the stretch the last couple of years. Health of this team and age will be major factors in closing out the season and the AFC north title.

In the 17-game era... a 3-1 means little.
But with the Steelers, we are always seeing misfires. The talent is supposed to be in place and the question is asked, will they find a way to gel together?
Winning ugly goes a way towards that. You gotta win those ugly games.

Quite a few good teams lost this weekend.
The question for them is, do they take the slap and get back on track?

It isn't just the schedule. The defense was missing seven starters by the end of the game yesterday.

That's pretty bad. Steelers are missing 2 starters on D... Highsmith and Porter. Herbig has done well in relief of Highsmith, but the secondary needs Porter back soon if Ramsey is gonna miss time.

Am I reading excuses? When the Steelers were missing most of their starting secondary vs the Patriots I didn't see these same excuses being applied. We had to adjust in that game and play 'tackle the catch'. But we adapted and won the game.

What happened to the Ravens on offense? Some of the worst personnel decisions and play calls we have seen this season. Was that because of defensive injuries? The Ravens have lost tie-breakers to both the Bills and Chiefs. Unless they get the #1 seed for the playoffs, they are on the road again.

The Ravens' defense has been terrible and that is a direct result of the injuries. That isn't the only reason they are having trouble, but they are still every bit as dangerous if they can get healthy.

Chiefs are not the same teams. Last night was their first one looking good on offense.
