From this chart Jones is middle of the pack or better which at this stage of his career is fantastic

    What are you complaining about

Let me get this straight. You don’t know what you’re looking at, but you’re going to make up something to complain about anyway.

Well based on this chart he has two first year starters at their positions already in the middle of the pack

He got a bunch of rookies starting last year

    Yeah I’m becoming a supporter

I’ll just say that PFF routinely had Pouncey graded among the worst centers in the league. :nono:

Disagreeing with something here and there doesn’t make everything the rank wrong

Too many people just eliminating pff as wrong and going fo4 the opposite

    That makes zero sense

Pff is terrible when it doesn’t support their claims and the gospel when it does. It’s really that simple

You guys are trying to put lipstick on a pig. Trying to tell me Pat Meyer is doing a wonderful job and I should just ignore what I am seeing on the field and believe that PFF stats that are saying Broderick Jones is doing a wonderful job.

It's saying the Steelers should leave Jones on an island more often since he's just ok. It's when he gets help that he screws up I guess.

The simple fact is it’s obvious you don’t know what you’re seeing on the field. You whined for years about Dotson and natural position, but ignore the fact the rams use a different blocking scheme than ours.

I've said it hundreds of times. I don't pay attention to PFF.
    PFF= Pretty F**king Fake.
So I don't use them if I agree, or if I don't, unlike many do.
90% of the guys grading these players have never even stepped onto a football field. Does this make them stupid, no, does it make them wrong , no, but You will never get me to believe a guy that threw 1 td, threw 2 ints, lost a fumble, and lost the game had a better day than a guy who ran a td, threw 2 tds, had no turnovers, and won the game did worse.....I don't give 2 f**ks how PFF tries to explain it.

You can't be this stupid. Broderick Jones is having problems and Pat Meyer is not helping at all.

Why you continue to defend Pat Meyer is beyond STUPID!!!

Well, yes... in pass block win rate (on an island specifically), I'd expect him to be better than Moore. That was Moore's main flaw. He was garbage in pass pro.

I'm less worried about him being better than Moore, I'm more worried that it looks like Fautanu and Jones are roughly average when it comes to Tackles in pass protection. Both were first round picks, and it would be nice for one of them to be better than "average"... It is also concerning that they are both in the top 12 in "being left on an island". Is that on the scheme? Or are teams just sending the house a lot so that it keeps us in 1 on 1 situations?

For our offense to improve the OL needs to carry their weight. They've largely been bad this season.

Very confused about how the OTs are 'left on an island' so much and yet the TEs only run routes on less than half their snaps.

What the hell is going on?
