Isaac Seumalo, veteran left guard, also earned praise, landing in the top 10 at his position.
The unit has potential, especially with young talent like Troy Fautanu, but overall cohesion and depth remain issues.
I think either it is coaching, or it is the talent brought in.
I lean towards Myer not being able to get a unit together.

Ah, okay. I like FantasyPros. It's funny how much FF has driven more robust statistical reporting for the NFL. One of the analysts at FantasyPros is always referencing granular data from another fantasy-geared stat site. Fantasy Points Data? I can't remember right now, but it requires a sub.

Then if your logic is correct, it all boils down to what I've been complaining about last 5 years.... inconsistent O line that doesn't give QBs time to make 2nd and 3rd reads, scan the field.

FWIW, he's listed at 5'11" (and 5'10" on profootball reference).

I agree that's not tall for a WR. But it's also not "5 foot nothing".

From his college tape, it looked like he had problems getting of press man coverage.

It also sounds like maybe he's having trouble with the playbook?

 

AB had problems with press his first couple of years, but he work at it, and progress wonderfully.

 

Roman Wilson had 9 total snaps on Offense this past week. Tomlin was asked about this back in Week 1 and told the media basically to piss off as he isn't going to detail snap by snap analysis week in and week out. I personally still don't get as to why Wilson doesn't see more snaps.


Never mind Wilson; why isn't Pat Freiermuth more involved in the Offense?! This issue has haunted Arthur Smith ever since his Atlanta days; tremendously talented group of Tight Ends but little to nothing to show for in terms of production; Jonnu Smith being exempt from this discussion.

 

AB also had a HOF QB as well. Takes two to tango there. I do agree that, even as a HOF QB, have to meet that QB in the middle.


Hopefully Roman Wilson can do the same. Maybe not a HOF but someone who can make a good impact. That said, Arthur Smith loves his TEs; namely Jonnu Smith. Now, why Pat Freiermuth isn't getting more involved?! Question of the Season there.

 

I totally agree, but the reason I believe we aren't seeing more is a bit of everything.
1. The OL isn't holding up well so we are leaving some of the TEs in, and when they do go out after a block, it's too late.
2. We aren't keeping drives alive so you can only get so far in the play sheet, and 3.....
3. Rodgers has missed a few.

He got Wilson's height correct upthread. Cut the guy some slack.

 

guy has not even gotten a chance to play. Hard to believe he’s that bad in practice that hes not getting any real playing time.
