Weren't we leading the North last year by 3 games with 4 left to play? Something like that, it was an epic fold.

I was at that game. I think we were leading by something like 28-10 going into the fourth quarter and then Bruce lit us up with 3 TD's late in the fourth.

I don't know about you, but the people that think the Ravens will win the SB this year need to understand that that is what they will be facing in the playoffs to get to, and win a SB. So this all well look who they've faced means nothing, because to get to the SB, and win they will face that 3 weeks , or more in a row. Does their D look like it can handle that????

If you call losing great, ok you got me. Some of you like pretty losses over ugly wins, and that's cool.

Considering the defense struggled against Seattle it was good to see the coaching staff shake things up.

They're missing three starters on defense so yeah I expect them to get better, Harmon made a difference in his first game on limited snaps.

Watch , and see, when JPJ gets back, and gets his game legs under him, it will change a lot in the D, and He won't have to be great for that to happen.

Here is hoping that change can continue some modest gains for success.

Its not surprising that the place where TJ lines up is where our run D is a bit better. Still need to keep improving.

Playing Holcomb was about being stronger against the run. Of course, he had the most damaging missed tackle of the day, when the Pats went for it on fourth-and-one deep in their own territory.

The Ravens took a while to figure it out on defense last year, too. Their overall numbers look great, but they were as good as anybody during the latter part of the season.

I know it looks that way, but it was a function of the schedule. The first half of the schedule was relatively easy. The last four games were brutal.

Im leaning towards the Lions this year. They’ve been knocking on the door, think they may do it this time.

Why is it luck when we forced every turnover?

I could see if Pats ran into each other and fumbled or the RB fumbled without being touched but we forced every one of those turnovers.

    That isn’t luck.

But I agree its not sustainable to expect the D to force 5 turnovers every game.

Also.. didn’t Herbert throw 4 INT’s in the playoffs last year? Didn’t Ben throw 4 INT’s in our 5 turnover loss to the Browns in the playoffs? It happens. Its not luck.. well, the snap over Ben’s head for a TD may be seen as bad luck.

I tend to agree, but that whole going 15-2 last year, and then losing the 1st playoff game like we did makes me wonder. I'm kinda feeling the Eagles. They are a no bull$hit team that just worries about winning, and not style points, and those are the teams to fear in the playoffs.

I totally agree, and if people want to say it's luck then what about Seattle's win over us??
They are lucky Austin tipped the ball away from a TD, and made it a int, or they are lucky that KJ didn't know the kickoff rules, and gave them a TD. I could say they were lucky, and we should be 3-0. No????
