Their defense were a complete joke in the second half of 2005....The only way that the bengals would beat the steelers in the playoffs with Palmer was if Roethlisberger had a another 3 interceptions games against them like in the regular season game in december

This year,good chance the bengals will be awful with their backup QB and their horrible defense

 

They will struggle to win 3 more games without Burrow.

I'd like to know how you figure in a league where you draft by how many games you win, and we average 10.5 games a year, we would have the top 2-3 talented teams in the league.
This is where , and I'm not talking about you , but many ,make me laugh, they aren't constant.
You can't say Tomlin controls everything, and yet somehow we draft well late in the rounds, and still get talent, or that we can't develop talent. You know all of these things people like to say can't be true at the same time. It make no sense.
Either we draft well, or we develop talent well, and to all the so called Tomlin does everything guys , that means someone is wrong. LoL

If they fired him tomorrow, I'd root for whoever took his place, what I won't do is make up things to down him, and give him no credit for anything.

I've listened for 5 straight years how awesome Lamar Jackson, and the Ravens are, and yet when they play the games that matter. They lose, yet many will still pick them to go to the SB.
What I'm trying to say is, why be so hyped about one team, no matter what You seen them do year after year, and not Your own team?? We go to the playoffs year after year, and get beat, the Ravens, and Bills go to the playoffs year after year, and get beat.

 

The Bengals had the lead when Plamer got injured IIRC, we saw Cowher choke in the playoffs plenty of times before that game.

We had no business winning that game, we did, but this is already shaping up similar to last year, play a weak early schedule win more than we lose, but doing so very ugly and then last season shellackings.

This is far and away the worst 2-1 team in the NFL at the moment, sans the Bengals without Burrow.

The day Tomlin quits will be a day celebrated all over this land. We'll finally have optimism again and a chance to actually land a GOOD HC, OC and DC instead of the garbage Tomline and Rooney keep rolling out.

It's time you came out of the closet. You have to be a relative or friend of Tomlin. Nothing else makes sense. You're on an island with just a couple of other knuckleheads at this point.

I seen a club, or driver, or whatever they are called on tv one day, and I turned to my Pops , and said , did they just say, starting at 400 dollars??? He used to play, and he said they were many higher than that. LoL I was like ....one freaking club???

 

Did the defense allow all of those points or were there interceptions/fumbles/kickoff/punts responsible for some of those points? Were any starters rested in the final game or two of the season since they won the division?Everyone knows you love to focus on the negative, but ultimately if the defense was “trash” like you described it they wouldn’t have won the majority of their games in the second half of the season and wouldn’t have won the division.
