Their front seven are good. That is the strength of that team, besides their receivers. I am worried about giving up lots of yards on the ground. Their running game is average but better than ours right now.

Wentz had a good game against the Bengals, was 14-20, 2 TD's, O Ints largely because Mason rushed for 116 yards.

This is a tough game against a quality opponent and the variable of international flight, rest, and playing in Dublin.

Because I'm a die-hard fan. Regardless of what the spread is or opinions. As long as that ball has to be teed up and the game played, anything can happen. We've all seen it multiple times. Otherwise, how did Cleveland beat Green Bay this past weekend. Even horrible teams, figure out a way to win a couple games they shouldn't. Some people may call it looking at it through black and gold glasses, I call it just being a fan and not take things so damn seriously.

I looked in to going to this game when the schedule was first announced then quickly realized it was way out of my price range. In fact, the entire away schedule is the same except the Chicago Bears game. That will be a game week decision based on mostly the weather. Wish I could have been in Ireland but will be up bright and early Sunday morning rooting the Steelers to victory!:herewego!:

As in the case of many backup QBs vs Steelers, Carson Wentz will have a banner day throwing for at least 3 TDs, 300+ yards and 105 passer rating. Kinda like what he did back in 2016 (when Steelers last won a playoff game) as a rookie with Eagles... 23 of 31, 301 yards, 2 TDs in a blowout win 34-3.

Wentz had also a great game against us in 2020 but Roethlisberger was just better on this day

Except the NFL changed the rules. Both teams will be going over on Thursday. Because that's the earliest they can go.

I thought I read that the Vikings were going over on Wednesday, But I also found your info on Reddit. So, I guess I can't blame the Rooney's on this one.

Vikings will leave for Dublin Thursday evening, same travel schedule as the Steelers
per Kevin O’Connell’s press conference today. There was a lot of discontent when Rooney announced we’d be on the same schedule as the last international trip which was heavily criticized by Heyward and Ben, but at least this time the Vikings will not have the advantage of arriving a day earlier like they did in 2013.

The long travel overseas games should have a travel of Tuesday so that the players can adjust to the time changes.

Don't they practice over there, or do they just do a walk through???
I don't know a dang thing about playing anything all the way in Ireland.

The league restricted when teams were allowed to travel to the game. With that being said they say to fully recover from jet lag requires a day per hour of time change. So roughly 6 days for a trip to Ireland. Practice/prepare here, fly to Ireland, and drink lots of redbull on Sunday

Well there D looks worse than ours. Talk about not being able to cover TEs, and let people run on you. I seen it all night against the Ravens.

Just a matter of time before their DC is fired if it continue. Not the same defense since McDonald leave the ravens to become head coach of the seahawks after 2023

Makes me happy. The only thing close to my joy of a Steeler win, is my joy of a Ravens loss.

What, they can’t practice in Ireland? What do they do? Get off the plane and go to the pub to drink guiness daily? Least hungover team wins?

The one time that Tomlin actually wants to get out in front of jetlag and the league blocks it. Really WTF!

The stupidity of this rule will rear its ugly head when they can't figure out what to do with the Vikings playing back to back games over seas. If they make them fly home and come back I will die laughing.

Still worried about them playing at Croke Field over there. Has kind of a ominous ring to it. :scared:
