Yep, so that's 3 games vs the last several years at least...

I don't think it goes that deep, it's just what his offense is. Same as last season. He sucks.

The Browns have one of the best defenses in the league, they held the high flying Packers to a measly 10 points last week.

Sort of. Until the Steelers start having success throwing down field teams will continue to stack the box. Vrabel did the exact same thing he did to the Steelers when we started 11-0. Stack the box and force short throws. Until Mr darkness retreat starts beating teams downfield with consistency expect to see more of the same.

It's more of the sheep bleating stuff they hear.
I watched us throw on 1st down, and the very 1st comment of the game day thread after the throw was......why do we run it on every 1st down. LoL
Then automatically I look at the author of that post, and file it away.

They also gave up 41 points the week before, or were a part of it .

Yeah but that was against the Ravens, they've scored 112 points in 3 games. The Lions defense played the Ravens offense as tough as anyone can and still gave up 30 points to them.

Have You guys maybe thought that the Packers may not be all that. Like I've said 500 times, It's too early to be Crowning, or saying teams suck. They have only played 3 games. I mean if I was like others, I would have to say that the Ravens have the worst Defense in the freaking league, but I know it's too early for judging any team yet. I've watched 0-2 teams win a SB that same year, and I've watched 8-0 teams not win another game that year. So......

    Browns have a defense
    Along with 17 qbs
But they have a formidable defense

Maybe but SEA and NYJ both played two high safeties, daring the Steelers to run. And they couldn't.

They have a great defense but their offense put them very often in a bad situation like the week 2 vs Ravens

You don't throw downfield against two high safeties. You SHOULD be able to run against that defense. That is MY point. Next time think it through.

They’re playing two high safeties and stacking the box. They’re doing that for two reasons. To stop the run and force the check down. This is the exact same thing vrabel did in our 11-0 season and will be what we see until mr darkness retreat starts completing passes down field.

Arod even mentioned this 2 high safeties.
Need to be able to run the ball more efficiently to stop teams from doing this

Yes. It's just math; Steelers run a bunch of 12 personnel.

With 2 safeties back, 2 CBs on the WRs, that leaves 2 TEs + OL. Seven blocking seven. Someone isn't getting the job done. McCormick has struggled. Fautanu has taken a step back. And Jones is, well, Jones.

And like Bettis always said, 'my job is to make the first tackler miss'. Warren has been doing that, 6 broken tackles so far.
